Can't wait!
Packing anxiety really hit me this AM as I looked over all the piles of clothes and "stuff" that I have everywhere! I think it might be a good idea to look over our calendar and kind of plan out what to wear each day.... I've never done this but I'm thinking it might help me eliminates some of these things that I probably won't wear anyway.... Does anyone else do this? Does it work?![]()
Then I have to organize the pins that I'm going to bring.
AND I ONLY HAVE 7 DAYS TO DO THIS SINCE WE ARE NOW LEAVING ON 5/11.......Not until late afternoon though.
Hey you guys who are doing DiveQuest on 5/12.... what time will you be there... maybe we'll come and try to catch you in the tank.![]()

Can you tell there is a little thought?Just a little!
Hm, never been to that store, and my mother used to work in Ber-zerkeley. I'll have to make a trip up that way when we get back from the trip.Q's My Princess said:Kara,
I shopped at Anthropologie in Berkeley. I had been to the one in the city, but had never tried any of their clothes on. They really had some cute things!

rcostello1 said:Yes I do this! Actually so far this time it is mental (no comments from you or NO DRINKS on the cruise!), but I usually makes a spreadsheet to organize my thoughts. I took an afternoon off from work for clothing selection last week
. Mixed and matched then put everything in the bag to make sure it would fit. I had extra room so I started pulling what I liked for "extra" clothes.
Of course when I'm on the ship everthing goes out the window because I change my mind. About the only thing that stays the same are the suits! Plus I have to stay out of stores (kind of hard when you work p/t in a mall) because I might find something else I *have* to have. Which reminds me, I have some coupons expiring tomorrow...hmm...

The key here is we all wear spedo's and the appropriate shirt. So for a formal night you wear your black spedo and a tux shirt, pirate night the red spedo and a stripped shirt. That way you only need three or four spedo's and a some shirts.rcostello1 said:Is this a contest? I can win. I have many clothes. And many suitcases.hehehe
The hard part was saying goodbye to favorite clothes...Had to decide what was current and not in the "short pants." Capris are so hard to find for men, and I don't like shorts...oh the sacrifices...
But remember Regina, if you throw something out you get to buy something to replace it!

I explained that we were renting a car and returning it near the port. She then asked how we were getting to the airport in LA. I explained about the rental car there too. She seemed pleased to know we had made plans because she said there were many people who had not made any plans for transportation. She thanked me and we were done, so I thought. About 30 min. later she called back to confirm what I had told her, rental car to Port Canaveral and also rental at port in LA. Just wanted to be sure she said, then thanks and goodbye.
Has anyone else had one of these calls, we have cruised with DCL a couple of times before with the same travel set up and have never had one of these calls.
See you all soon,
Christine

I figure I will be able to roll up my parents and ours and put in the tube. You will also receive the mat or paper (cardboard frame/folder?) they will probably put it in. I just carried those on the plane in a shopping bag. But I was paranoid about getting my lithos bent or dinged.
