videogal1 said:I packed four bottles of water, within decorative wine tubes, in a small appliance box. When I joked with the shipper( UPS Store, formerly Mail Boxes, Etc.), who is a friend of mine, that I was shipping wine to the ship she told me that their shipper couldn't do that.
I laughed and explained about the decorative wine tubes of water she said she knew the ones I was using...She had paid $6.00 each at Wal-Mart for a couple herself before finding out they were selling at Michael's for half that. Needless to say, off went my tall water bottles, unopened at this end and, I hope to see them arrive sparkling clear and unsipped at the other... I hope automatic coffee pots are not prohibited, too...

DH and I plan on stopping by the grocery store to pick up beverages and spirts in FL- I think it would be easier and cheaper to do that rather than ship it. We may hand carry some regional wine for the wine party. Is DCL really giving us a room for that? As I used to work in the hospitality industry- I don't see why they would or could. Maybe liquor laws are different at sea?
Anymore info on this onboard wine party??? Date, time, location???
Thanks!
