The amount of purple at the aft of deck 6 and 7 is amazing.

So those of us on Deck 5 now know who to blame for all the noise from above! :rotfl:

Georgie, We're behind you ....
Tried reverse M&M for Billy. Looks good. Krinkled in the dryer since I didn't turn it inside out.
Welcome to all the newbies. Celeste, Angela and I are both internal medicine. Think we might have a meet for CME???/ :rotfl2: :rotfl2: Maybe CPR training?
Don't forget to order your shirts.
Bill :earseek:

Well Bill and Angela....
I have to renew my ACLS in July- how about a mock code!
Just don't give me any of those funky odd tachycardias! I like to good old standards- V tach/fib, asystole, and Torsades.

I think we should do a CME on "Addiction to Disney- cause and effect"

I have ordered my shirt for the first day.....and the "cruise ship pin" shirt.

Are there other shirts?

Celeste

Anyone who's still trying to figure out what to wear on Pirate Night, check this out. It's from the Disney Ink Shop on Zazzle. You can make your own semi-custom shirt! I chose Captain Hook with the phrase "Walk the Plank!". There are two Captain Hooks to choose from on page 1. You can choose your shirt color and your phrase (another cute phrase to choose from is "My ship. My rules.). It's a lot of fun, less expensive than a full pirate costume (my shirt cost $20something), and fast. I ordered mine Sunday and got it yesterday in the mail.

I'm planning to wear my shirt with a denim skort and my blinkie flippy floppy thingies.

Here's the link. Scroll down almost to the bottom to see your Captain Hook choices.

I was thinking we should have had a prize for the first... but this is an even better idea! ;)

Congrats Elaine!
 How Exciting

Elaine,

How exciting!!! I can barely sand the wait anymore!!!

As for the flippy floppy blinkies, I am trying to be so good and not bring too many shoes (me, the Imelda Marcos of my friends and family). But you have me convinced that I need to make the trip to Walmart.

Since they will be at WDW on Friday the 13th, why not stick around and ride the ship with us to California?

Okay, I know it's been discussed here before, but I haven't been reading the thread long since we've just booked the cruise and I can’t read all 8,000+ posts. But I need your help on what to do after the cruise. We’re scheduled to fly out of LAX at 10:30pm on Saturday, so we plan to rent a car at the port, spend a short day at DL then drive to LAX (talk about a long day!).

My dilemma is, I don’t know where the ship docks in LA so I don’t know where to rent a car. Can someone give me the name and address of the port in LA? And yes I do feel silly that I just booked a two week cruise and I don’t even know where I end up!

The ship docks at the Port of Los Angeles which is in San Pedro CA. The only rental agency close is Enterprise which is across the street from the terminal. The rest of the agencies are located in Long Beach across the St. Vincente Thomas Bridge. Most either have a shuttle or will give you cab fare to come to their agency.

To Book through Enterprise you have to call locally as there is a $25.00 drop off fee for leaving the car at the Airport. I know some of the other agencies are not charging a drop off fee so you might want to check around.

This is the address of the port:
World Cruise Center
Berth 91/92 and 93A/93B
San Pedro, CA 90731

You can find more info on the port here: http://www.sanpedro.com/spcom/crusshp.htm
