FANTASMIC - yes tomorrow (or today, depending on your time zone or when you read this) is the day to book. I called today to verify that I call tomorrow :).

I will let you know what happens...11am sharp (ET).

I've been packing tonight. Done with clothes and they all fit nicely in one (garment) bag. A few more things to the cleaners and back and then I'm done. Can't wait to be done...stress is building!!!

I am sooooo far behind on this thread but I had to post for all you who signed up for the DIS High Tea at Palo. Check your PMs.
DCL set it up for us and I sent everyone the info via PM.
I am looking forward to meeting you guys.

Man, that day is getting crowded. Tropical buffet in the dining room. Room visitation. Wine tasting. And, formal night.

Any thoughts of picking a different day for Room Visitation?
I agree, it is a busy day. However, in talking it over, everyone will want to trash their rooms. The sooner we invade, the sooner we can relax and mess the rooms. Many of the disers even prefer to not have visitors. So, this was a compromise. Then everybody relax.
Bill I've been super busy lately. Sorry for not being able to keep up. Thanks Kay for helping. More, shortly.
Bill

I think it might work to have book exchanges on the 19th and 24th.

Anybody think it would be a bad idea to do this during lunch?

for the book exchange-Lunch would be fine, which resturant? I would vote for Parrot Cay because Scott and I prefer eating there. Did you find out if there is a library we can leave any extra books in? The one's I have to trade, I do not need back, and would just as soon leave them if no one else wants them.

I agree that the room tour should be early, I cannot keep our room clean very long either, and souveniers tend to accumulate. I am looking foward to seeing other categories of rooms, we have only been in two different categories ourselves.

Linda, I sent you a PM about the scrapbooking list, if you did not get it, I should not be on that list, the last thing I need is a new hobby, I cannot keep up with the ones I have now!

Maybe DCL actually stands for "Documents Come Late."

I am pleased to announce the arrival of a set of documents for Kevin. He is official -- he gets to go on the cruise. (I kept telling him there was no conspiracy). Kevin gets an official banana conga line!!!

The UPS man rang the door bell, dropped the box and was in a full sprint back to his truck by the time I got to the door. Maybe the word is out in UPS-land that there are crazed people wanting small brown boxes. He didn't even want a signature.

The doc box (opposed to a doc in the box) was dated April 26. I guess that means it was sent out yesterday. If you don't have your docs today, you should have them by Thursday I would guess.

I ordered Tuxedos today. I guess I should go start packing.

Randall

:earsboy:

Randall/Kevin,

Great news on the docs!!!

What is the name of the tux place? I am trying to order right now and had a brain poop and can't remember.

I'm having the same problem. I'm trying to send our magnet info, and you made it clear this is where you wanted it sent. Are you able to resolve the problem or would you like us to send the info somewhere else?

Here's the reponse I keep getting back:

Hi. This is the qmail-send program at motion.tiggerfan.net.
I'm afraid I wasn't able to deliver your message to the following addresses.
This is a permanent error; I've given up. Sorry it didn't work out.

<monorailpilot@tiggerfan.net>:
Sorry, no mailbox here by that name. (#5.1.1)

Ah ha, the email is monorailpilot@GMAIL.com not tiggerfan.. sorry about the confusion

Scott,

Whatever you can do would be wonderful! I'd love to have a chance to keep track of all the different places I've snorkeled around there, and the things I've seen, like the octopus hole, the machinery, etc.

thanks loads,
Renae

Packing!? Ummm.....No! This weekend I have GOT to get my boxes packed for mailing though. If I don't, it will cost me fortune to bring them along on the plane as extra baggage. I'm stressing about sneaking this wine in the boxes (oh, yes "collectible bottles with liquid") As it is, the pins alone are gonna add tons to my luggage weight. I plan to stop and purchase the rest of the liquids on the way to the port. :teeth:

Robin

Don't stress about mailing wine. Package it good, lots of bubble wrap. I also put it inside those two gallon ziploc bags if your bottle fits, just incase there is a break. We have never had a bottle break, coming to us or going. Just put glass / fragile, or say it when they ask. I sent my boxes to the port via usps priority mail

I'm off to class, have a great day everybody, and not too many posts! Just kidding.

As for the tipping post, all I can say is AMEN and thanks!

Renae

I have a question...can someone come to the pin trading to see what it isall about if they won't be trading pins? Since I only buy pins that I mean something special to me I would just like to see what type of pins people desire. Would it be okay just to stop by and observe?

Elaine

Kay, thanks for your calendar - I think it's great - all organized in one place. We have so many events planned do you think the Cruise Director will be jealous when she/he sees all the events we have planned?

:goodvibes

Should we wear our flippy, floppy blinkie thingies with our pjs ? :teeth:
