I was kicked off, or dropped from the board last night as I was reading posts, at about 1:30 am (Mountain Daylight Time), and could not get back on for the rest of my shift (3am). Yes, I am one of the lucky ones who has internet access at work, and am allowed to access it for private business, as long as doesn't interfer with work. It did make it harder to catch up this morning (afternoon).

Kay, sign Scott and me up for the room inspection tour. It doesn't look like Scott has already, unless he sent a PM.

Welcome to all the new cruisers.

Raining here in Wyoming also, I am dreading taking the dogs out for their walk, they will come in covered with mud. :sad2:

To keep track of what we have planned on the cruise, we have made up a one page calendar for the 2 weeks, and I have been filling in the spaces as things are announced. It will be easy to fold and keep in a pocket or camera case for the trip.

Pesticide Application Today. Please keep all pets and children off until dry.
Company Name
Company Phone Number

At least, this has been the inscritpion on my neighbor's lawn for the past several weeks. He can't seem to want to throw it away. Thought maybe Snow had the grass sprayed for bugs or something.

I would consider the "Columbia" a boat (no life boats).

I mean their first real passenger ship.

The Big Red Boat? But they didn't own it so I don't know if that counts.

Disneyland's Columbia ship is christened on the Rivers of America. It is a full-scale replica of the first ship to carry the American flag around the world. It cost $300,000 to build.

Fowler's Harbor (named after Admiral Joseph Fowler, who helped to build Disneyland) is officially opened on this day

Not True!

Any sailor will tell you the basic definition of a ship is:

“A Ship Carries Boats” (i.e. Lifeboats)

I love the “Columbia” but I don’t know any sailor that would classify a vessel that only make s one mile trips in a man made river, and doesn’t even have a rudder, a “Ship”.

Keep Trying…

And not “The Big Red Boat” either.

::yes::

Nope!

Disney actually owned a passenger ship before the “Disney Magic”.
