Okay, got you down for 2. That leaves four spots in the private room if we get it.

We had other Dis'ers go to more than one brunch and also went to tea on the Christmas Cruise, so I don't think you'll have a problem.

Linda

Sent you a PM....

they had a bunch of special guest speakers and sessions before entering the PC which were fascinating. Plus Duck Williams will be doing his special talk which was at 11 a.m. in the morning and I didn't want to take a chance and book it before the PC and iss that. Okay, now you know the reason for my madness!

Well, OK, then! I can start the "overflow" table, then!

Ok, during the Super Bowl I am thinking about the pin design (take breaks to watch watch the commercials :rotfl2: )

Susan and/or her husband will probably hate me after this pin design :flower:

Instead of Kingdom to Kingdom - Taking the Magic First through the canal. THere should be something about the canal

If we keep "Kingdom to Kingdom" the font could be easier to read. I compeletly understand what he was doing there

And is the rim color black? Or is it dark blue? (Hard to tell on my monitor)

These are just suggestions, and even if it does not change, it is a great pin!

It kinda reminds me of the logo for Survivor..... Surviving the Canal Voyage LOL :rotfl:

Thanks for listening!!!

Wasn't Disneyland the "original Magic Kingdom?"

That is what I thought too..... someone on the other thread disputed that.

I looked (albeit not too hard) for a reference to that and did not find it

Wasn't Disneyland the "original Magic Kingdom?"

I googled Disneyland and Kingdom--got this from the first entry, 2nd paragraph

"His first creation utilised his unique imagination creating a series of areas which included rides, Shows and attractions based around a given theme. At a cost of over one million dollars and taking one year to construct "Disneyland's" Magic Kingdom opened its gates in 1955 in Anaheim, California and fast became the most popular tourist attraction in America."

Is this our first fight?!?!?!? :cheer2:

"Bit by bit, Disneyland got ready for Opening Day. The staff worked around the clock to get ready. The Mark Twain was being moved, deck by deck, down the Santa Ana freeway to get to Disneyland on time. Finally, everything seemed to come together. The "magical little park" was really a $17,000,000 "Magic Kingdom." Walt's dream had come true and Disneyland was ready to open."

Opening day, was a day to remember. Six thousand invitations to the Grand Opening had been mailed. By mid-afternoon over 28,000 ticket holders were storming the Magic Kingdom. Most of the tickets were counterfeit.

Walt Disney was 53 when he dedicated Disneyland Park. It was a memorable ceremony. There in Town Square, Walt could look around and see the fulfillment of his hopes, dreams, and ambitions in the form of a spectacular entertainment kingdom."

Found the above at Justdisney.com

This one was at the Disneyland Paris guidebook of all places.

A number of months ago we talked about some of us doing High Tea together. Since so many of the events are coming together I though I had better bring it up again.

This is the list of people who said they were interested...

Please let me know if this is still accurate and if I missed anyone.
I am not sure the best way to make these arrangments, as I have never done a High Tea at Palo. I have heard they don't open the entire resturaunt for Tea (don't know if this is true), I also don't know how large of a group 1 person can make reservations for. I would love feedback on these things.

So far my best idea for how to do this is for a couple people to agree to make reservations and then we can have sign up sheets for the specific tea times at the sail away party. If anyone has done this before or knows of a smoother way to do it please shout.

Hey cool you guys! Kingdom to Kingdom is more than just cute, it is a fact!

Danica, please add me to the list. I have never done the tea before! Thanks!

It is true that they only open a portion of the restaurant for high tea. They also have a coverage charge now (they did not in the past) to ensure that people don't make the reservations and never show up. I have never tried making high tea reservations for a group, but have made group reservations for brunch. We will need to get cabin numbers and last names for all attendees. The private room is limited to 14 (and I don't know if they open this for high tea - but it wouldn't hurt to ask).

Hi,

I am on the August Repo cruise and just saw a copy of your pin design and love it! Since I am a pin collector, would it be possible for you to put me on your list for five of them?

Thanks,

Cathy (Invaderzim)
