Yes, I too have what was once a reluctant spouse who now knows some of the members from our 10-day cruise and now posts from time to time. We're a good group, promise! Just don't hold us responsible for anything we might do after the wine tasting...

Bummer about the Ship of Fools chat...I won't be able to make it. We're doing Easter dinner with my parents on Saturday night so we can head back home on Sunday, so we'll probably just be sitting down to dinner... Oh well. Represent us well, fellow cruisers!

Yes, thought it was time to get rid of the Christmas picture.... March is just about right for the last of the Christmas decorations to get put away...
The picture is from the 2005 Disney Marathon in January... we're at the finish line and still able to smile!!! What you don't see is right after that we both collapsed to the ground....
Sorry to all of you in the frozen north... it was 86º here today, 90º yesterday! Easter Sunday it's supposed to hit 90 again. THIS IS MARCH! Even So Fla is NOT supposed to be 90º in MARCH!!!

Lynda: If they won't "tenderize" your scooter at 130 lbs... does that mean I have to swim ashore?? Hey by the time we get to Cabo everyone on the ship will weigh more than that!!!

Well, I think they'll expect that you can board the tender by yourself...The scooter, however, has to be carried and with all the bobbing up and down the poor thing just might end up in the drink...It's not likely that I'll be able to board the tender myself ( the last time I was assisted from pier to little boat I assisted the captain right into the bay...in Cabo!)

There was a guy in the UK who auctioned an invitation to a friends wedding on E bay,on the basis there was likely to be family arguments and fights and would make an interesting day,and think he got something like $200 for it.
I shouldnt imagine he kept his friend for long

The first time I met my in-laws, we were going to a family wedding. On the way home, my fil mentioned what a great time was had by all and said, "They didn't even have to call the police." Seems the "open bar" had caused a lot of problems in the past. I was wondering what I was getting into!

On another note, I finally heard from Amy at Cdockpirates.com about my pirate costume order. Seems they are out of one thing and I'd asked for the order to be sent complete. Only took 2 emails to get an answer though!

Any digital photographers out there that would like to do me a HUGE favor. I can return the favor somehow...

I am getting my family all dressed up for formal night. I would love a *good* picture of the 4 of us taken that I could use for my Christmas cards this year. I usually don't like the drop backgrounds the ship photographers use. I'm hoping for something more special -- maybe around a porthole or a sunset background or something more creative. Any ideas?

We are on early seating. Maybe someone on late seating could meet us around 5:30 or so and take some pictures?

If you can help me out, please PM me.

Everyone have a wonderful, safe weekend. The kids are out of school today and we are headed to Stone Mountain outside of Atlanta.

Peter, that ebay link was great! It's too bad he didn't get more $$ for all of what he was offering, though. It's not going to be easy to pull off a vacation to WDW for two adults and three small kids on $2,550.

Today is supposed to be a day off for me...markets are closed so it should be a holiday, but our bank is open so they expect us to work even though there's not much for us to do. Oh well. Planning to jet at 11am to head to my parents house for the weekend. We are leaving our dog at home for this trip, which is weird. We usually bring him up with us because M&D have two dogs and they all play. But we need to test out our new pet sitters to make sure the dog doesn't freak being left at home without us. They will come in twice a day, feed the cats and the dog, and walk the dog about 2 miles each day, which is his normal routine with us. Just worried that he won't be happy being in his bed (kennel) at night without us in the house too...

Leslie, I understand why you want the internet access on the ship! Keeping in touch with our pet sitters won't be a bad idea. We may share an unlimited access with my parents so we can all check on our "babies" too!

FYI-The Canon Digital Rebel 6.2 megapixel is on sale on Costco's website for only $799. (and to think we paid a $1,000 for it 1 1/2 years ago). But the bright side.....I've already taken over 15,000 pictures with it. Thank goodness for the trash can! delete.......delete......delete......
