I received my "Disney Rewards" card today. Just FYI, and each of you probably already know, it has an expiration date on it. We have to make sure the $'s are used up on it before the expiration date, as we don't get them back.

The envelope looks like a piece of advertising, but it isn't. So open all your mail even if it looks like solicitation.

Just an FYI, I can attest to the fact that they will NOT resubmit your rewards to another card. I lost $140. in Dec.....all because I forgot about the card and just let DCL bill to my credit card on file.

I plan to take this one down to guest services and get it credited to my stateroom early in the cruise!!!

Ok, so yet another day waking up to the snow At least it is 33 degrees!! A Heat wave!!

The kids are protesting me making them start the deep down spring cleaning when it's still officially winter. They're not making much headway with that argument when we're having this kind of weather.

Our community-wide yard sale is coming up soon. Gotta go through everything and try to get rid of LOTS of junk so I can make room to set out the cruise suitcases like some of you already have!

I completely understand the rewards card thing - I just threw away several expired gift cards I found (worth a couple hundred dollars) Gotta get myself more organized so I don't do that again!

Just got back from a week in the Georgia mountains and we are 36 pages behind.

Disney Phones were waiting for us when we got home. I keep hiding the phone the hear Mickey say "hey pal, over here".
DW got a coctail dress at Saks5th Ave outlet for 15.00.

First DCL cruise and others- All the maiden and first cruises, total of 22 cruises counting the upcoming Panama Canal Cruise and 1st West coast cruise. As I can not get a month off from work, we are returning in Sept/Oct to do Disneyland celebration.

Shipping Wine- We belong to a wine club, Taste of California, that brings wine into Florida, than ships it to us because it is illegal to ship wine into Florida. If there is no indication on the shipping box that the contents are wine, it may be OK.

Dave and Lisa-Welcome. This should be a great cruise. My DW used to get car sick and we worried about cruising. She started taking "Bonine", an over the counter medication available in grocery store pharmacies and drug stores which you take once a day. It makes her a little drowsy, so she takes it before bedtime and the peak drowsy effects are while she sleeps. After over two dozen cruises, she take 1/4 to 1/2 a tablet if any at all. The Magic and Wonder are very stable ships, she only feels rocking on rare occation.

We are grandparents again- Our resident Sandhill Cranes had babies yesterday. They are little orange fuzz balls. The nest is in the reeds on the lake just off shore. We hope the redtail hawks we have nested on our property don't find them.

and then over to Jenns Parents house.. and the girl next door since they have common dr. Then We Go 2 towns over to take care of an older woman Who works with JENN .. who Just lost her husband about amonth ago.
Those are some Lucky people ... snow plow fairy..

I need a computer guru help

I can no longer see the webcams from the Panama Canal. And also, I can not get into any eZboards. (Could they be related?) This has been going on for at least a week.

Any ideas of settings that I may need to change or check so I can see the Canal again?!!

Just completed paying my monthly bills on line and have to hit the bed. Woke up sick this morning and it got worse during the day. I can see an appointment with the doctor on Monday. Had such a sore throat and cold that I lost my voice today. Aches all over and I don't even live in the snow and cold. UGH !!!!! I don't shake illness too well and I can't get sick too severely before our cruise.

I have been pretty quiet on here but have been keeping up to date on everything. I have been so excited about this cruise I think all of you would have gotten tired of me if I was posting as much as I would like.
I went out today with the 2 older of my kids and spent ....gulp... about $500 on clothes for the cruise for them. They are the two that like to shop and I swear they spent 45 minutes in the change room with me running back and forth for differnt sizes. We bought so many clothes and shoes that I think I will need an over the door shoe holder just for shoes.
I can't believe some of you still have snow, you will appreciate the cruise so much more!!
We ordered DS 7&12 their Tuxes this week and they insisted they wanted top hats too, can you believe it?? Odd boys, but we got them for them and they are so excied. Funny thing is the 12yo won't wear a baseball cap but he will wear a top hat- maybe I will make him wear it everyday on deck and while swimming.
Everyone have a great weekend, you guys are making this cruise so much more exciting and fun. Thank you all for all that you are doing, I can't wait to go!!

Feel free to post anytime, Christine! How many children do you have? Sounds like you got your exercise for the day going back and forth from the dressing room! I'll be watching for the kiddos with top hats.....oughtta be a sight to see!

As far as snow, we're getting some good wet snow tonight, but its been in the 50s for days. Traditionally, we get our biggest snows in March and April, and with the perpetual drought we've been having in the west, every bit of it is welcome! We are at 6100', so we can't actually do any planting outside til Memorial Day. I know Scott has it even worse, I'm thinking he's a few hundred feet higher than we are. He gets all those mountain snows, and we are on the "high plains". (In other words, high flat desert with nothing to slow the wind!!!)

Anyway, our growing season is only about 63 days, so planning is a must!! I'm thinking by the time we get home form the cruise, we should be able to plant tomatoes!!! Come on, May!!!

We were out tonight having dinner at a friends house...getting ready for the cruise...sangrias, prawns & mango sorbet! very good!
