Karen, I sent Jay down on the last night to slip something under your door...did he get the right room???

Yup, he sure did! Thanks! Cute picture on the card. I wished I looked that good in a bathing suit! ;)

How could Jay miss our door? After the balloons showed up there it was hard to miss (which made finding our room a LOT easier!!) Actually I had several strangers stop me and thank me for putting balloons on the door b/c it helped THEM too!! :) Maybe I need to put "balloons" on the packing list! :)

By the way, Captain Thord told me that he reads the boards.........

Dear Captain,
It wasn't me who "corrected" your lovely children. Hope to sail with you again in the future.
We had a wonderful trip.
Sincerely,
Stacey Stenson
8602 (the one who was everywhere, and appeared to be stalking you!)

Dear Captain Thord,

I know you're busy driving the boat (I know, I know SHIP) but take a few minutes to pay attention to what your children are doing so they aren't ruining the magic for PAYING customers. After all, we pay your paycheck!! :)

I'm sure your kids just didn't realize that they were blocking the view of a famous Disney character....Christopher Robin!! :)

God speed,
Karen 6060

p.s. clear this up for us....did we hit a whale?? ;) ;)

I want to thank Nick, OH DS, for the best food tip of the cruise, ordering a bowl of raspberries. Add those to a Mickey Bar and that was an excellant treat. A Mickey Bar, fresh raspberries, and a glass of Port. Now that is comfort food.

Yup, and his tip to you cost him a bowl of berries on the last night. Of course we already knew they were out, but he ordered them anyway and all he got was strawberries and blueberries! :(

But, the raspberries kept him regular considering how much mac-n-cheese he consumed!!

and a special thank you to Lisa and Matt who encouraged my dd to actually order off the adult menu!! That started something and by the end of the cruise, BOTH kids were doing it. --of course it backfired when we went out to dinner at a real restaurant and they both wanted something off of the adult menu!!

Ah, that explains it!! Makes sense! I kinda like my picture anyway, since I never actually MET Cary, I can show it to people and tell them "it's some guy I never met" and that's a good story! ;)

And I can say the same about you! Makes sense!

Hi Everyone

I've got my CD ready to go. It's nothing fancy, just lots of general pictures. No special editing or anything like that. If you want one, just PM me with your address and I will mail it out. (Our tablemates will get one automatically since I already have your addresses).

Welcome to my world.

You thought I was kidding when I posted my warning to parents about introducing the kids to real foods. It gets expensive.

Just wait till Nick is eating as much as Matt. We feed him before going out to dinner so he doesn't eat as much at the restaurant.

Sharon and I just went on line and made our menu for the week.

South Beach diet here we come, starting on Monday of course because we are cleaning the refrig tonight of all the good stuff.

I have a history of not listening to wise advice. After all 100 people told me it would be a BAD idea to get a puppy....

and did I listen to them?

how/where do you do an online menu? I need to make one for the week so we can hit the grocery store today.

I also have to catch up on some grocery shopping today - thought I'd hit Costco!

Dee - are you back to the Pacific North West yet? How was WDW?? Keith must have to go back to school... are you coming back?

Miss you!
-Sarah

We use Southbeachdiet.com. It does require signing up.

It allows you to pick your menus for the week and than creates the shopping list. We have been using it for over a year and really like it, especially after a cruise.

I really like coming home and not thinking about what I have to cook. I just look at the menu and get started. Much easier for us than grazing. It also lets me do the prep work the night before.

It works for us.

I was going to say "Yes, you do need to pack ballons" because it made it easier for me to know which way to turn on our deck, but I don't think you are in a room by the elevators any more are you. Still, it was a nice touch.

We warned you. Your restaurant bill will NEVER be the same. Wait until they eat at the same table as the Scuba's - you never know what they'll try next.

Our 11 year old son ate four hamburgers off the kids menu every night. Our server, Leeroy, got to the point after about the 2nd night that as soon as we sat down, George's 4 hamburgers appeared!! He was bumbed his first full day home when he realized he no longer had unlimitted hamburgers.

Well, I do have to tell you about my Christmas present I recieved - it's an electonic photo frame that rotates up to 35 pictures at whatever rate you set it to. Ours are all cruise pictures right now and they rotate every 5 minutes. I think you can set it as fast as every X seconds or as long as once a day. I am really enjoying this present. (The real present was Jim and Matt loading all of the cruise pictures I selected into the frame for my enjoyment). :cool1: :cool1:

That sounds cool. My Grandma had a picture frame like that...except it wasn't electronic. You changed the pictures yourself.

We went to Brown Derby with Gail's family the second night off the ship. Alicia was at the other end of the table, and naturally she ordered an appetizer AND main course. Luckily, she didn't choose the steak that night.

The first thing I miss is having someone put the napkin in my lap. I'm weird, I know.

Do tell more. How do you do this online? Don't forget, several of us will be joining you, but will be at it a lot longer than you!

Never mind, just finished reading.
