It's MONDAY!!!!!..............

At least today didn't start off as busy as yesterday..... I saw 38 patients from 7a-12p.... I had to call the afternoon doc in early... Very unusual for a Sunday....

Enjoyed chat on the thread last night.... WHERE'S BEAR? was definitely fun! Even better that the Steelers won - of course - I felt a little remorse since I'm a big fan of Marshall grad Byron Leftwich......

Okay, I'm late to this one (didn't get back to the Friday ones when I was checking at home), but I just had to comment. I LOVE LOVE LOVE Blizzards!!!!! Our closest Dairy Queen is about an hour away, so I don't get to indulge very often. In fact, that was my only cheat during my diet, and I don't think it really was a cheat, because it wasn't until I was at my goal, and we had just spent the entire day at King's Dominion, so I had certainly over-exercised (Don't you just love rationalization????). My very favorite special blizzard is the peanut butter crunch. It's made with peanut butter and the chocolate cookie pieces. You can't find it very many places anymore, but it was one of the original flavors. I'd have to say Heath ones come in pretty high on my list too!

Gus - I sure hope everything goes well with your doctor! Tell him we need you at 100% for all the fun!

Mary - thanks for all of your work with the monthly newsletters, buttons, mini-nav, etc., etc., etc.!

Has anyone ordered something for your room from Shirley? We need to do that soon! Looking for that Christmas tree smell in the stateroom!

Last round of clothes shopping for the cruise was this past weekend (hopefully). It was tough finding swimwear for DD6, nothing really in the store - may have to order from landsend.com. Boy, so many of you are far ahead of us, but at least now we are about ready to start packing! Getting the suitcases out of the attic today.

We decorated our Disney tree last night and watched videos all of our visits to Santa at Phipps Plaza in Atlanta (11 years and counting). Aren't your kids cute when they are little tikes sitting on Santa's lap the first few years!

Well, gotta run get some work in!

I wonder if TKDLisa could kick the other Lisa's you know what!

I've finally gotten used to it. The first two or three took me off guard, but now it's just part of the chatting! And no, this Lisa would NEVER kick anyone's butt! When the whole family was really active in TKD, people used to ask DH if I could kick his butt. His standard answer was "well, if I was coming at her with a rubber knife, she'd wipe the floor with me, but other than that, I win every time!"

I actually was much more agressive, sparring wise, when I took classes before having kids. When I came back and started teaching, I started pulling my techniques. My first set of classes was with all men, and I knew that I wasn't going to hurt any of them by accident, so I always went full speed ahead. When I started teaching, it was mostly with kids, so I did the full technique, but just stopped at the point when I touched them. When it comes time for competitions, I just can't make myself follow through with the technique. It looks pretty, but doesn't score any points.

I ordered the Spode Christmas tree the other day from Shirley. I also ordered some flowers for the 3 ladies (DW, DD and DD)...

OK - some advice needed - DW birthday is on 12/24. I was planning on ordering the birthday room stuff from DCL (Shirley suggested this was best). Do you think I should have it put in the room on the 23rd so that it's there when we return from St. Lucia.... or have them put it in the room on the 24th. I'm leaning to the 24th....We're on Antigua that day - and don't have anything planned......

Admit defeat and get it over with. Buy her something nice that will make her happy early because it's a long cruise with a small cabin.

What ever it is it is a small price for happyness.

I wouldn't call it defeat, more like strategical positioning! DW deserves all the good I can muster anyway!!!

Good Morning Everyone!

Its back to the grind of school today. I am just thinking only this week and then a horrible week on final exams to go. LOL I am hoping time will fly but I just have so much in between. They said its going to 78 here today! YAY But it means severe storms tonight, hail, winds, and tornadoes. I am betting most of tonight will be spent with the family crammed in the bathroom. What fun! Have a great day everyone. I will try to post from school in computers.
