Welcome back to all you pre-vacation vacationers!!!

Stacey, we are going to Vegas in April. First time for DH and I was there when I was 15. I am sure it doesn't resemble anything like I remember(not that I remember much). We are really looking forward to it.

OK - Ringtones..... I have "HeyBaby" by DJ Otzi on my cell phone.... It's one of the songs that they play at sailaway....... Had to even but the Kangaroo Jack CD so that I could put it on my iPod.....

I can sit back.... turn it on... and pretend we're on Deck 9... looking foolish.... but Sailing away....

I had "When You Wish Upon A Star" on my phone, but couldn't hear it, either. So now I have "Zip a Dee Do Da"....which, obviously I also can't hear, since I have to return calls all the time!

Ohminnie....glad the plumber didn't try to bill you...but I'm a little puzzled about what he did, too....
It will be interesting, come Friday, to see if the leak has stopped. I wouldn't plan on repairing the ceiling before then. Hmmmm....

I am hoping to have some quiet time after I get home from work, and before the kids get here....would like to share our meeting story.
The house is a bit of a mess. No one had run the dishwasher in all those days. I've never seen it so stuffed full......I just have to keep telling myself that I got to go have a nice vacation, so it's okay.

I just got off the phone with DCL and they have not changed everyone back to late dinning. She was giving me last names for everyone and some I recognized but some I did not. So if I know who you are I will post here your status. Virgil & Stacey - you are both on late dinning now.

Paul, Diana, Vicki & GaRry, Linda, & Angela - since you are booked through TA's you will need to call them and ask them to switch you back to late dinning.

Mary Ann - since you were linked to my reservation(so your group could be next to our our group) you got switched also. You will need to call your TA and have them switch you back. You might want to have everyone in your group check their seating assignment just to be safe.

Oh, DARN....and I was going to rush out, buy drywall and patch it up today....sometime between finishing school with Nick and his rehearsals!!

Actually, KT is at my parents for the week. You'd think that'd make my job easier, but no one is here to entertain Nick.

I left a message with my TA's customer service department this morning. We no longer have an agent, he left in the interim. I have no idea if they will change us back or not, so it will be one of those surprises. Sorry, second seaters. We were really looking forward to it.

I'd call DCL direct - ask for a supervisor... explain the issue.... They've been really good about helping...

Oh, yeah, right. I still have the hole in my ceiling in the basement, and that is from June or July. Luckily, this isn't a "hole" just a mushy spot. It can wait!

I haven't even packed ONE thing for this trip and I realized Nick probably doesn't have good shirts to wear for dinners...."sorry honey, you can't come to dinner with us, you don't have good clothes." If he would stop growing he'd be fine!

As Debbie told me the one time I talked to her. "If you had all booked together you'd be a group and could be dealt with as group dining". As I told her the trouble was when we all booked this 18 some months ago we didn't even know each other. Now we are a group of friends that aren't afraid to share things (like Bears) and are looking forward to 10 days of fun together!

Mary I read a thread on the boards regarding a cruisers whose travelagent was able to have their DIS thread folks get some group perks. I don't think they had all booked witht he same agent I got the impression they just called with info or something. I'm not sure if anyone is interested intrying to do this or not. At this point I think we might just leave well enough alone

Vicki, I think they have kind of given us a perk, the room for the wine party is a pretty good one. Goodies would be nice, too.

Worst case scenario you have to switch to early dining. In which case you can sit at our table b/c I still have a lot of home improvement questions!!! KIDDING!!!!!!!

We are fairly new to the thread too --- as you will see everyone is so welcoming. Can't wait to meet everyone...

Ohiominnie --- we lived with a hole in our ceiling for awhile --- same thing water leak in the bathtub --- actually it was the cooper at the elbow a bad solder that just wore out (only lived there 3 years and the kids just started using that bathroom). Anyway the only way to it was through the kitchen ceiling --- after awhile you won't even notice your new access hole. We did finally get it fixed --- had a hard time finding someone that would do such a small job, seems like if they can't do a whole ceiling they don't want anything to do with you. Mike finally ran into some guy at the QT -- asked if he did that type of work (truck gave it away) and he came out and fixed it afterhours --- he did a great job -- I'm saving his number as well as the plumber --- they both did good jobs for reasonable prices.
