Speaking of rat stories. My sister lived in a fairly nice apartment building in Lakewood, Ohio. About 3 days after arriving home from the hospital with her newborn son she went to get something in the kitchen and a rat the size of a small cat was running across the floor!! She had visions of the rat getting the baby ala Lady and the Tramp! :)

Needless to say, it wasn't long until they moved!

:scared: YUCK!!!

I only like two kinds of mice.
The ones at WDW, and dead ones!

Gail, have a wonderful time on your romantic cruise! Don't worry about DD. When she gets older and learns to really appreciate cruising, you won't be able to leave her home without lots of pouting. Enjoy it while you can.

Thans Diana. It makes me feel a little less guilty leaving her home. DS is to young still to understand.

OhioMinnie, How is the puppy this week???? Is she sleeping better????

Rats-Yuck. Stacey, I totally agree with you. They are so gross!!!!!
I saw a few once in 6th grade in a field near our elementary school and I will never forget it. I have been spooked by them ever since. I was so freeked out when my girlfriend said there was one in our house. We found the hole that was dug in the front of the house and had a nice man come to get rid of the rat but we never caught it. There was a church being built about 5 blocks from us and we were told that is probally where they came from. I hope I never see them again. You can tell how I feel about them.

Mary, I miss you. Hope all is well.

David, where are you these days???? We need to set a date to get together.

Talk to you all later. Gail

Gail- I was just going to post the same thing - I've missed seeing you post. The cruise sounds like fun - have a great time.

Woke up this morning with a stiff neck - hopfully it will go away with a nice sleep tonight.

Thanks for asking. Actually, she seemed to be doing quite well. Then my parents came last night and she reverted to her old ways. She barked for quite some time after her trip outside at 3:00. Today we decided to re-institute some short periods of daytime crate time and she's having a hard time settling down in there. Don't know why the relapse.

Still wondering about the soundness of this decision.

Gail....I'm soooo jealous! You will have a fantastic time!! And once the grandparents get through spoiling your DD, she won't even want to come back home again!

Mary....I hate it when I get a stiff neck....they are really the pits. Feel better.....try the heating pad and a nice massage from DH!

Minnie...probably the excitement of having new people in the house. Remember, she's just a baby. One day, when she's grown, and a fantastic companion, you won't even remember how much trouble she was as a pup! I promise!

Going to try to talk DH into taking me out to dinner, but there's a huge monsoon brewing, so I doubt he'll want to go out.

TTYL,
Stacey
Unless we lose our power again!

Hope everyone is having a great evening!!

Lisa - Glad they were able to get a diagnosis on your FIL, prayers and PD bing sent your way that they are able to get him in tip top shape for the cruise.

Stacey lets just not worry about our girly figures we can all be "pooh's" toegther I think I might have to watch what I eat before the cruise so I don't have to on the cruise
Congrats to those of you that have been successful with the weight loss.

Diana, my DS asked me to ask you to apologize to your DD for him b/c he still feels bad :( about scaring her at WDW

Night all

Vicki

Friday was spent watching the opening ceremonies of the Olympics on the TV while DH was watching storm updates from Florida on the computer. No time for chat!

I'll be missing this Friday as well as we'll be up at Irish Fest in Milwaukee!

So David - when are you going to give us some more trivia? Haven't done that for a while!

HI David. Where've you been? Don't be a stranger, OK?

Aww, Vicki, you're going to have everyone feeling sorry for Alicia. Poor Gregg, he had no way of knowing that she's neurotic about being jumped at. She even takes her glasses off in the 3D shows when she knows a scary part is coming. Besides, she already forgave him. Tell him to check his e-mail.

I hear that Paul Hamm is going to do great tonight! Who's watching?

Just watched him get the gold! Way to go!

Thanks Mary for letting the cat out of the bag for us West Coasters!
I guess i'll go to bed now!

Paul

WHINER!!!! ;)

 We're watching, too......

And guess what??? I just got PM tagged! Makes you all curious, huh???

Who's next?

Back to the Olympics.

Better do this now, as I'm fading fast......

GOOD THURSDAY MORNING TO ALL OF THE EAST COAST (OLYMPIC-RUINING) CRUISERS!!!
Sorry, I just had to say that for poor Paul....he probably needs his beauty rest, anyway!!! LOL

Good Night,
Stacey

Good Morning! (I guess, I didn't get much sleep)

Actually, I've always said I'm not too fat, I'm too short. Or in politically correct terms....I'm "vertically challenged"!

Stacey

Stacey,
I am vertically challenged, too. I like saying, " I'm not overweight, I'm undertall! " Of course if I were very tall and slender, wouldn't I make Paul look funny. You do what you can that's all we can do.

;) ;) ;) ;) ;)
