Still raining here in Central Jersey. :*( Hoping for some sun this weekend. Travelling away for a quick escape to Reading PA and some time with my wife and daughter.

I am hoping to go shopping at this big outlet there but the main goal is outdoor time. That is what I am looking forward to.

We were at the VF Outlet in Nov. Lots of shopping

I don't know of anything in Wyomissing. When we went, we stayed in Bernville. Bernville is about 5-10 mins. away and absolutely nothing to do there either. The main purpose of our trip was to go to Koziar's Christmas Village in Bernville. Really a neat place but of course seasonal. Have a good time.

OMG -- the Vanity Fair outlets!!!!! That brings back memories -- my mom and I used to have a girls weekend there every year. We would leave Northern NJ early Saturday morning hit the outlets. Stay overnight at a local motel. Have some dinner at a local restaurant then get up and do it again the next day. One day we would do Vanity Fair and the other day we would do the downtown section.

Sunday, after a full day of shopping, we would drive back home. We haven't done that in years and boy do I miss it.

Yes, I believe there is still time to get a reservation in for this meet. I think Fred said he has up until maybe the week or two before 6/5/04 to turn in a final count.

Come on people...it's getting close! Get your friends and neighbors to come too! Should be lots of fun. If anything, you get to eat a decent meal.

I wasn't going to say this yet but I am also working on a second meet about 3 months down the road after the first one. I have a great travel agency that wants to do a talk PLUS we may have a special guest that works for Mickey! There may be some cool incentives that come from the house of mouse!

More info to come on that one. I will be trying to get a head count for the second meet when we get together in June. Don't worry folks, unless there is enough demand, this one won't have as high a fee to pay.

I am also looking to start planning another meet for next year and hope to have 4 states in attendance. With some help, I may be able to pull it off.

Hope that you're all having a nice weekend! Did anyone else go to Ag Field Day and the NJ Folk Festival at Rutgers, yesterday? It was a beautiful day for the events!

That's so neat that you are planning to arrange some additional Meets, Fred! I'm sure that they will all be as successful as this first one is certain to be!

We can't wait 'til the June Meet and to meet all of you NJ DIS'ers, out there!
