We may be able to come, but I wanted to ask. Is this a "formal" affair? The place seems like a wedding hall. Just wondering if people are dressing up?

I never really did call the hall but let me tell you why.

We have been there for several other occasions in the past. One was for a bridal shower that my wife threw for her sister. Everyone was dressed in casual attire. There may be a wedding going on in another room but that is seperate from us.

I want everyone to feel comfortable so remember, dress casual! It's our room, it's our day, we do with it as we choose.

I am probably going to wear jeans and a polo with sneakers. If you don't want to dress casual, just don't over dress.

You aren't too late, Fred said you still have up until two weeks before the DISmeet to turn in your money. The first deadline was to get enough people signed up and paid in advance to hold the hall for us. So, if you would like to join us, let Fred (Majestic) know, and he can add you to the list and tell you how to send in your money. We are going to have a large crowd, and sounds like it is going to be a lot of fun!!!

Wow!! This is really shaping up to what sounds like a very fun meet! Seems like everyone is pretty excited about it, and as the word continues to travel, more and more people seem interested!

I went to see my orthopedic surgeon on Friday, and I have to have knee surgery. The first open date they have at this point in time is for the middle of May. If there is an opening for sooner than that I asked if I could be moved up. As long as I am feeling up to it, I still plan on coming up for the DISmeet in June. My surgery will be to my right knee, which is pretty messed up. Wish me luck, and I sure hope to meet you all.

Awww! I sure hope you can make it too! You were the first one to sign on for the meet! You have to be there!!! Get your doctor to get his act together and make things happen!

Good luck with your surgery. Come on the 5th,---you can manage with all the help you'll get from all of us....besides DD won't have your DD, and with therefore be bored!!

That's right, I forgot all about that, we can't let that happen now can we? I'm still waiting to hear from my surgeon's office when my surgery is scheduled. I'm really hoping for the earliest date possible!!!

I found out my surgery date this afternoon, it is scheduled for May 4th, so I should be in good shape by June 5th to make the DISmeet!!!
