They Sandwich motor lodge would be better, it is actually a tough drive from Hyannis to Glo's while the Sandwich Motor Lodge would be in the center of things...

OHHHHHH....that would be a tough ride from Hyannis!!!Theres a new hotel over that way with a very nice indoor pool. On Jones road, In Falmouth is it a Quality Inn now? Anyone Know?

Actually on www.hotwire.com I just got a room in falmouth for the 2 nites for 105 per nite. It was rated 3 stars which is pretty decent. They won't tell you what it is untill you book it.

Thank you for all the suggestions. I will have to check out the sites and see what I can come up. I had looked at expedia.com and found a room for $134. I will have to check out hotwire.com.

I would love to attend this if at all possible. There is a chance I may be out of town that weekend, which would mean I could not go. But, if I am here I will be able to go down for Saturday, but have to return home Sunday. Work for me on Monday Labor Day.

A small complaint: I realize the traffic is heavy on the community board and a special board for meets is a great idea, but looking at the post on this thread has me wondering. Are we reaching Disers.

There are new Disers signing up daily who have no idea what a meet is. By hiding the meets over here we may never reach them. I think we are creating exclusive meets for the Disers who know where to look.

I understand you can add a link, but I feel it's not working.

I still think the comunity board should hold the info on the meet. Are we not a community of Disers, who would like to meet and get to know other Disers.

I realized something. The Cape Cod meet post was not the place to put this. What done is done and these are still my feelings. I would move it if I knew how.

Let's say around 4... bring bathing suits if it's nice, we'll have burgers and dogs etc... byob

What is this place?!!!!...It seems very interesting So anyone could attend all these festivities at the cape? Even people from the midwest? Are these formal events where someone would have to rent a tux like on the cruises?
