$200 disney rewards credit card offer

Minnie10 - Did your second Disney Visa Card application go through? I am in the same boat - already a Disney Visa Card holder - but would like to take advantage of the $200 gift card offer letter we received yesterday. I just wanted to see if someone else had success with getting a second card to get the $200 offer.

Yes, we applied in January for the regular Disney Visa from the Disney site that gets you a $40 statement credit after first use. Got it and then about a week later got the $200 offer. Called Chase to ask if we could cancel the first card and get this instead. They indicated we did not need to cancel the first one, we could just apply for this one too. So we did and got it, and just received our first statement that shows the $200 rewards bonus on it! :cool1:

The best I've seen is the $100 stmt credit on the AP site. No one has been getting any bonus Disney Dollars either from what I see.

Thanks - I just got off the phone with Chase and hopefully my new application will go through!

I got 2 offers.....I guess we could do both...why not?

Yes, we already had two disney visa cards, but applied and used it one time and received the $200 rewards.

My husband has a Disney Visa but I don't...we got the offer last night so I'm applying for myself and I guess we'll see what happens ;) That $200 would be nice for our trip in May!

Is anyone getting this offer by email? or just postal mail? Have you frequented any special website and signed up or anything that might have prompted your name to be generated to receive the offer? I have a card, but my husband does not,we just paid it off but we have carried a balance,I really want this Offer!:sad1:

We haven't gotten bonus dollar offers since last summer...maybe before that.

I called about my account and they said these type promotions are generally offered ,(I think he said quarterly), so to look for something soon, that there was nothing available now,as far as the bonus points.

The two that I got came through the regular mail....

As far as I know...they coninue to offer 6 months 0% on disney vacations paid on your Disney Visa...so book your Disney Vaca on your Disney Visa...:scared1:

I got the $200 offer on Monday. Both DH and I already have Disney Visas, but I called in on it anyway. The CS rep said that wasn't a problem, so I applied again. Hey, I'll take it if I can get it!

Does anyone know if I can switch my United card (through Chase) to the Disney card? I got the offer for this, but I really don't like having more than 2 credit cards (which I have). I don't keep balances on them, but I just don't like carrying a bunch of cards on my credit report. I'd love to switch if I could...

I got this offer too (snail mail). Mine was also addressed to the xxxx family. I tried to apply online and it kept telling me that there was a part that was incomplete, although I didn't leave anything out. I ended up mailing the application form in.

I just got a Disney Visa and I didn't get $200.

I'm getting tired of all this money and discounts being tossed around. I don't get any of it.

Went shopping late on "Black Friday", everything I purchased is now cheaper. Folks are constantly writing here about their 20/30/40% off deals at Disney, I am going to pay out my rear. Offers from the Disney Visa to get gift cards when applying, I got none last month when I got my Visa.

Just my luck. After being poor for many many years and the kids finally old enough for my wife to go back to work, we can finally afford a nice Christmas and afford our first vacation and everyone gets great deals except me.

:confused3, I know just how you feel,

Chase is pulling a lot of these things.

I recently (in early January) received an offer ofr a $100 bonus deposit if I opened a checking account with them.

I read the rules carefully and found that I had to make a minimum deposit of $100 and either set up for an automatic deposit or make at least six debit card transaction per month and maintain the account for at least six months.

So I went in with $125 and opened the account. Within a few days they credited me with the $100 bonus. I have since made an additional deposit of $25 and have made a lot of very small transactions from a low of 85¢ up to a high of $13.00 and have a current balance of $135.

I intend to maintain this account until six months have passed, and then I will close out the account.

One thing I am aware of is in early 2011 I will receive a 1099-INT showing the $100 as taxable interest income but I will still come out about $75 ahead.

I received this offer too, but since we already each had the Disney visa, I shredded it. Now I'm really peeved cause it looks like I could've used it anyway. Has anyone had this happen and been able to call to get the offer anyway? I wonder if they could tell by checking that this offer was made to us?

My offer was in the postal mail.

I have had them look up the 5 times Disney Dollar reward offer for me and they gave me the phone number and code, but that was for an existing account. You can call and talk to customer service for the heck of it and tell them you accidently tossed it. It can't hurt.

I got the same thing when I filled out the online application - it got flagged as incomplete when I hit "Submit". I ended up calling the phone number and the process took about $10 minutes and the CSR was very friendly.
