Glad to share. Was surprised I had not seen it reported here yet. This board has inspired to be more budget conscience and felt I should pass it along. There is also a promotion for a free piece of track if you are buying wooden railway pieces. Did not know if that many would be interested in that though. Enjoy the savings.

I just got back from TRU and all the B1G1 40% signs that were on the Infinity items the other day were off today. I also don't see that promo online anymore either.
The 20% off did not work on the Lego minifigs I bought.

I had no problem online yesterday with it in the morning and did my pick up in the afternoon. I did not look after that though.

I just got back from TRU and all the B1G1 40% signs that were on the Infinity items the other day were off today. I also don't see that promo online anymore either.
The 20% off did not work on the Lego minifigs I bought.

TRU is really bad about the false advertising!!! They do that all the time. I contacted the head of the Legal Dept for TRU at the corporate headquarters and basically told them I thought what they were doing was illegal. Sent them all the screen shots I had that stated the BOGO promo was good until 9/21 etc. Got an email yesterday that they were going to honor it and let me use the 20% off. It's really ridiculous that I had to go to such measures to take advantage of a sale that they put out there. All the prices that were supposed to be on sale until 9/21 all went to full price when the 20% coupon came out.

I noticed that before the coupon came out the new Minecraft lego sets were $39.99 and after they were $49.99! I seriously can't stand TRU and I am thankful that my kids aren't really into toys anymore so there is nothing to keep me shopping there.
