$20 off $20 at Sam'sClub.com Amex Offer

All of mine posted!! So that was 7 $50 Disney GC's @ $48.88 each = $342.16 - $140 = $202.16 outlay for $350 worth of GC's. Total savings $147.84! - that 's like 3 free GC's.

Just wondering, were you using prepaid Amex cards for these offers? Thanks.

Does anyone know if "spend $20" includes the non-member fee?

I put $20 gift card in my cart. Price is $18.98 + $1.90 non-member fee for a total of $20.88. But I'm not sure if that's good enough to get the $20 credit . . . it's not like taxes are pushing me over, but I'm not sure that they'd consider the fee part of the purchase.

I can just buy a 2nd gift card to be safe, but thought I'd check here first to see if anyone did something similar and still got the credit.

These offers seem to be on the total amount of the transaction so I would think so, but I'm not 100% sure.

No - my husband as a Business Amex & I have a card fr that account, we have 2 regular Amex's & my husband, myself & my son all have a Starwood Amex. We never use the "regular" one, but I keep it for offers like this & Small Business Saturday.

I bought a $50 Disney gift card for $48.88 plus $10% since I'm not a Sam's Club member. The $20 credit more than made up for the extra 10%.
Call me goofy - but I'm not finding the $50 Disney gift card. Is there a trick or is possibly sold out? I'm only seeing the pack of 3. I'm assuming it's user error but I even tried searching $50 Disney gift card and nothing.

Thanks,
Heather

Thanks! I was just wondering if a prepaid Amex card would work if it was linked through Twitter.

It worked! I bought a $20 Steam gift card. The total, including non-member surcharge came to $20.88. Today, I got my $20 AmEx credit!

$20 worth of video games on steam for only 88 cents! Not bad at all :)

It looks like I'll be spending $36 on a $150 worth of Disney gift cards. I'm going to use the $20 credit on Sam's Club and then apply the $100 in Amex rewards towards my account. Wahoo!!!!

between the groupon last week and the Amex offer this week.....:cool1: Between DH and myself we have 4 cards- all 4 have the offer on them- Last week we bought a groupon special, pay $45, get a $20 gift card instantly, plus $22 in coupons for food to use (free food!) So I bought that, went in the store and got the member card, used one of the food coupons, bought gas at their station and used the GC for that($20) then later, went online and ordered 2 $50 Mastercard gift cards. ($52.38 each-used 2 Amex cards per purchase,4 total)
so I spent $45,plus the 2 GC @ 104.76 = 149.76 - $20-$22 -80= 27.76 for $100 worth of Giftcards and a years membership.....:cool1: It's nice to be paid to take some money....

This looks like a great offer that I might want to use if they offer it again in the future.
I am confused, however, about how they figure the $20 off: It's $20 off a $20 purchase, but certainly not $40 off a $40 purchase? Is it $20 off for every $50 spent? And is there a limit?
