20% cashback @ upromise from the Apple Store 5/21 only

Today is a 'super site' day (which you have to register for if you are a member of upromise) so double cash back, and they also have 10% cash back at apple so %20 back. You have to have their toolbar installed as well.

This was a bit tricky though....first you must sign up for turbosaver....then find from there how to register for supersite which was not easy....glad I was already upromise or that would be a third tier to the labywrinth!

I've been looking into one myself -- the Apple site is saying 1 to 2 weeks to ship and then about 5 days to my home in the Northeast for transit. Sorry!

If I signed up for all this and ordered an Ipad, I wonder how long it would take to get to me, I'm in Alaska, we leave late Wednesday night on our trip!! I've been thinking about getting an Ipad2.

I would say that it would not get there in time. The Apple website states shipment in 1-2 weeks. If it is anything like the iPhone which came directly from the factory overseas, it will take at least a week to ship.

Ok thanks guys, I may just buy one locally from my AT & T store...is there an advantage to buying it directly from Apple? There are also MAC stores here, no Apple stores (yet) though, although I guess there is supposed to be one opening up in the fall in Anchorage. I'm kind of torn between that or a laptop, but for our trip, an Ipad would be great!!

Did you get the bonus posted,or just the usual 1%? I bought on that day with the 10%, not the special bonus 20%, but only got 1% posted to my account today.

I remember reading the fine print, because I bought then as well, and it said 1% as normal, and the other 9% in about 45 days. I didn't see any fine print about the extra 10% though.

The only advantage to getting it directly from Apple's web site is that you can get it engraved for free. For my husband's I had 2 words put on it that only he would know. Then, if something happens to it, he can easily identify it.
