I'm posting this because I know a lot of you are buying/renewing your AP's this weekend.
Many Acme's and Albertson's are running a promotion this week--buy $100 in gift cards, get a $20 coupon. You can buy up to $500 and get 5 $20 coupons. You can only use 1 coupon per day, and they expire in a week. I used one before I left the store so I only have to stop 4 more times this week. Not good on the usual items (milk, cigs, alcohol, etc). Check with your store first to see if they're participating.
I thought it was a good deal. We're cruising Alaska next week so I took the Disney gift cards, but they had cards to almost anywhere. (BTW, Visa and Amex gift cards were excluded)
