We are taking our son (will be 2 in June) to WDW for his first trip in August! I was just wondering, can someone point me to a place where I can figure out what he will/will not be able to ride in the parks? I really have no idea what he will be able to do!

I am sure this has been asked a million times before, so sorry about that, and I do appreciate your help!!

it will depend on the child and the ride - most kids can go on a lot of the rides - but something like haunted mansion may be too dark - and the child will be too small to go on the 'race cars' by themselves - but if you go on w/them and talk them thru - they can go on a lot -

my recommendation is to go thru each park and look over each ride and see if you child would be okay w/the theme and then decide which you want to go on -

on a quick note - we've taken my son on almost everything - haunted mansion - pirates of the carribean - jungle cruise - the safari ride - the norway ride - living seas - and so many more when he was 6 months and 18 months - so there will be a lot for you to do in all the parks -

Technically he can go on anything that does not have a height requirement. (Splash Mountain, BTMRR, Space Mountain, Goofy's Barnstormer (35"), Stitch's Great Escape at MK; Soarin, Test Track, Mission Space at Epcot; Dinosaur, Primeval Whirl, EE, Kali River Rapids (38") at AK; Tower of Terror, Star Tours, Rock n Roller Coaster at DHS. )

Some rides without height requirements that have been known to scare little ones (although some love them!) are ITTBAB at AK (this one freaks me out:rotfl: ), Snow White's Scary Adventures, Haunted Mansion and Pirates at MK, and Honey I Shrunk the Audience at Epcot.

I would start out with some non-scary rides like It's A Small World, Dumbo, the Safari (my son's favorite at 2!) and work your way up. HTH
