2 weeks with no Friendship Boats?

Friendship Boats to Epcot, Hollywood Studios, and resorts in that area will not be available 2/14/2011- 3/10/2011. Disney is providing bus transportation to Disney's Hollywood Studios from the resort bus stop.

Did anyone read this and think this is too long? Over 3 weeks with no Friendship? Does this happen every year? Why couldn't they pull 1 out at a time, and fix/rehab what ever it is they are doing.

What is being rehab is the boat dock for YC/BC. Boats still running to BW/S/D to Epcot and HS.
