We'll be there 4/22-4/30 at CBR! I haven't packed anything either, but I'm still shopping!! It's going to be an intense couple of weeks because both of my DD's (1st and 4th grades) just got assigned projects at school that are due the first day back after April vacation, so now we have to get those done before we leave too.

I wish my son's teachers would give the homework out that early. We're not flying out until 5:00pm so that my son would be able to get his homework packages for each teacher. All of the work has to turned in the first day back.


If they would give the assignments out early, he could have them completed before we leave.

Good luck, Disneyjunkie. I know that homework will be the last thing your son wants to do on vacation, and I hope he doesn't get too much. I think my kids may have a little math that they won't get until the last minute, and I know they will have to read for half an hour each day, but at least the big project that is half of my DD9's social studies grade has been assigned early enough that she can put in a good effort, rather than scrambling in the hotel room.

My girls teachers have been great. No real homework, for there missed days. Just have to read 20 minutes each day, and write a journal. My 6 Y.O. just has to do a picture journal, and promise to have fun (Kindergarten). As for DH, and I, we have a BUNCH of makeup work before and after the trip.

My 9 Y.0. had more work to do on Spring break last week, than she will for her 5 misssed school days for Disney. I don't really ge that.


We are now down to 13 days. WOO HOO I can now officially say I'm going to Disney NEXT WEEK!!!!
