Thanks Beth! I'm typically not one to get nervous for interviews because I was a recruiter back in the ol days LOL. However, for some reason today I feel super anxious. It's still another 1.5 hours away so we'll see how it goes. The manager I'm currently working for will be there as well as 3 other managers. He gave me a pep talk this morning and some hints on what they'll be asking me. I'm hoping for an offer next week LOL. Maybe I'm ahead of myself there.

I don't think you're getting ahead of yourself at all. It's good to be positive and envision the result you want. Don't be nervous or anxious. It sounds like you are well prepared.

Just my two cents: I tried the crocs for work and found that they did not work for me due to the fact that I have wide feet.

**UPDATE**
My interview was awesome. I felt like I did great and at the end when they asked me if I had questions I said "is there anything that tells you guys I cna't do this job". And everyone stared at me blankly and then my manager chimed in and said that I did great, he knows I could do this job and that they were pretty much going through the motions here. YAHOO! Ok so no offer yet. Now I wait for the call from HR. Now I need lots of $$$$ vibes haha. Thanks everyone for thinking of me. Now I will have no stress wighing on my mind at DL!!

Hey hey! It's only 18 days until we're heading down to Disneyland!! YAHOO! I've gotten almost everything for our costumes, I'll just need to pick up some black hair spray stuff for me. DN still doesn't have his costume, knowing my brother he'll get it the night before we leave LOL.

We're still planning to hit Fresno and stay the night Saturday so our drive is shorter on Sunday.

I've started my packing lists.

Still waiting on a job offer and I hope it comes i nthe next 2 weeks or I'm not sure what will happen.

Oh gosh Beth you only have 5 days, I'm so jealous! Wendy you too, a week, UGH it's killing me having to wait over 2 more weeks LOL. I need a job offer before I go. I plan to email my staffing guy here on Friday if I haven't heard anything.

What are your costumes again? Have you used the black hairspray before?? Just my two cents: Spray outside! It's a MESS! Anytime you touch your hands to your hair it's all over the place. Stay away from Splash Mt.

It's been years since I used that spray stuff. After listening to your warning, maybe I'll just forgo it alltogether. I am going as Cleopatra. I have medium brown hair, and a beaded headpiece, so that should be fine. It'll be dark out haha. Thanks for the reminder.

It's funny that you're going to be Cleopatra because the reason I warn against the black hair spray is from when my DD(then 10) went as an Egyptian!!

You can sorta see the black hair (or grey, really as that's all the coverage I could get) poking out the sides. It DEFINITELY made a difference in her overall appearance. It was really neat to see her with dark hair. But it was a MESS. I would suggest a wash-in temporary color. It's a little more extreme lasting 1-2 weeks MAYBE?? I can't remember exactly. My DD11 uses a red version sometimes... I know they have black.. it's a foam-in that is obviously marketed to teens.. works great, at least in red shades.

P.S. I know there's alotta talk about costumes and price and I wanna pat myself on the back: The Egyptian is wearing a woman's size small gawdy Good-Will gold lame shirt (2.99) with a broken down white sarong of some sort (we had NO idea how it was supposed to hang so we cut it and pinned it on where we thought the arms should go!) that we also got from goodwill (99 cents due to it's dilapidated and unrecognizable usage). The headpiece and necklace were one unit (foam) from a party store that we paid like $7.99 for. THat was the big spender when it came to this outfit.

The devil is reusing her outfit from the year before because she liked the long-flow-y arms. I updated it with all-over red make up and the new eyelashes which were a waste of money cause they drove her nuts and she wore them for 30 seconds (the lenght of time it took to take the pic!).
