For day four, we are detouring to the Yacht Club for breakfast at Captain's Grille. After which we will be headed over to my favorite park!!!

The hope is to make it to the park in time for rope drop, so we can do our best Black Friday imitation and make a made dash to...

Toy Story!! We may ride twice if the line is short enough. After that, it's off to...

Before we check in for our reservations at...

Then its time to check out one of my closet favorites...

Here's a fun fact, I have only ever had the mobster scene when I have ridden. I hear there are others, but I have never experienced anything else! Maybe this time we will get lucky.

After our tour through the movies, I think we will check out...

and then I would love to do the Studios Backlot Tour. I have only been able to do this once, since it was closed for renovations for our entire trip last year.

We are having lunch at...

We booked the Fantasmic! package here. I know a lot of people complain about the food here, but I've always enjoyed my meals.

This is the first time that I have bought t-shirts from Disney in YEARS! Actually, the last time I bought some was when I went to Disneyland. I was really worried what the quality would be like, but I was super impressed. They are all a heavy cotton and the screen printing is extremely welll done. Not worried at all about them fading. A few of them have glitter or embellishments on, not sure how that will hold up in the wash.

They do seem to run pretty large, but since they are all 100% cotton I can shrink them up some in the wash.

After our lunch ADR at Mama Melrose, we will have to check out Muppet Vision, since ya' know, its RIGHT there, and also because I secretly love it.

Then we will spend the afternoon enjoying a few shows. That is, after all, what the Studios is all about, right?

We will maybe start with Beauty and the Beast. This is one of my favorite shows in all of Disney, and one that I can never seem to get decent photos of.

After that I think we will try and catch Indiana Jones. I have only seen this once, and they weren't able to do the last two stunts do due wind/technical issues. So this is the only cool picture I have of that...

I think we will probably skip Lights, Motors, Action unless Megan REALLY wants to see it, because I didn't really care for it.

And then by this time, it will hopefully be close to the time for Fantasmic! I have only seen this show once, but I really enjoyed it! This will be another time when I will be attempting to get some decent pictures, since most of mine look like this...

so...pretty awful, here are a few that aren't that bad!

After Fantasmic! we will be headed over to the Boardwalk, where we are enjoying dinner at...

Flying Fish! Then we are headed back to the hotel!

After our late night at Flying Fish, we are headed into an early morning at the most Magical Kingdom on earth...

We have a date with some very important princesses inside that castle this morning. I skipped an ADR at Cinderella's on my most recent trip, and I am excited to return and check out some of the new menu changes (which aren't exactly NEW, but they are to us.)

After our pre-park opening breakfast ADR, I will resist the urge to head towards the left side of the hub (is it maybe a left handed thing?) and head towards the right, for a spin on Space Mountain! We may ride twice, depending on how long the line is. Then I think a quick trip on Buzz is in order. After which I think we will head over to Liberty Square and check out one of my favorites (even though it gets a bad rap)...

I just really really like the story and the naration, what can I say?

We will try and check out Peter Pan and Little Mermaid, and probably Mickey's Philharmagic next.

I also really want to ride Dumbo (since I have never gone!) and check out the character meet and greet area.

At this point it will be almost time for ust to head over to our lunch at...

I am REALLY hoping we can use FastPass+ for this. Since we get to the parks early, we often can get a lot more done in the morning hours without having to use Fastpass, so being able to expedite our BOG lunch would be a huge time saver for us! I tried in vain to get an ADR here for dinner, but I think I actually prefer the lunch offerings more than the dinner offerings, so this may be a good thing!

Hi All! Quick update. I am still here! The last month has been CRAAAAAZY!

I started to move back from Charlotte on 12/21. There was a crazy snow storm moving around the country, so that was a bit of an ordeal.

Then, I hosted my family for the holidays.

In hindsight, maybe next time, I won't plan for a cross country move AND hosting the holidays in the same 4 day period. It was intense!

Since then I have been re-acclimating to this weather. -50 windchills this week!

Lots has happened since my last post! We now have Fastpass+ reservations (lots to say about that!), we have crossed the 50 day marker and paid off that final deposit. So our Magic Bands should be arriving any day now!

Can't wait to tell you all about it!

Great news! We were able to get a FastPass+ reservation for lunch at BOG yesterday! I snagged a 1:25 PM slot, which will work perfect for us. Unfortunately, ever since I made the reservation, my MyDisneyExperience account has been completely screwed up and its very frustrating!

After lunch at BOG, I would like to explore New Fantasyland some more. After that, we need to head over to Tomorrowland, where we have a FastPass+ reservation at Space Mountain.

I would like to take a ride on the People Mover as well as the Carousel of Progress. I have only gone on both once, but I love the feeling of nostalgia you get on the CoP, even if you can smell the age in the theater.

Our jam-packed afternoon continues with another FastPass+ reservation to meet Cinderella. We will try and take in the afternoon parade, which I have never managed to watch!

We have another FastPass+ reservation for Haunted Mansion. I believe it's around 4 PM, but since I can't login, I am just guessing.

Next up, we have a dinner ADR at Ohana. I am seriously considering cancelling it, since for her New Year's Resolution, Megan gave up meat. The bread pudding is outstanding, but I just don't feel like it would be worth it for us to eat salad, noodles, shrimp and bread pudding. The only problem would be trying to find a replacement ADR.

After dinner, where ever that may be, it's back to the Magic Kingdom, to watch the castle show and the fireworks!

They did go well! I'm glad to be back at home, at least for the time being. We are less than thirty days out now so I'm super excited!!

So Day 6 is really the only day that we don't have breakfast plans. You heard me right. No. breakfast. plans.

We had tentatively been planning to do a tour at Animal Kingdom this morning, but have decided against it.

I think today will be a great day to have some breakfast at Art of Animation. Their breakfast menu sounds really good, so it would be worth a shot.

After breakfast, its time to head to one of my favorite parks, Animal Kingdom.

We have a relatively stress free day planned here. The plan is to spend the morning wandering some of the animal trails. It breaks my heart that the Festival of the Lion King is dark. I had only been lucky enough to see it once before and it was beautiful!

We have a lunch ADR at Yak & Yeti at 11 AM.

In the afternoon we have FastPass+ reservations for Kilimanjaro Safaris, Expedition Everest and Dinosaur.

We plan to head back to the hotel just after the parade, because we have BIG plans for dinner!

We are headed to California Grill!

California Grill has always been my favorite for dinner! I think there is something really magical about being whisked upstairs in the elevator to the top of Disney. The view for Wishes is truly remarkable.

I have always found the food to be really excellent as well and have been saddened by recent reports that the quality and service has gone seriously down hill since it re-opened. If there is one thing I have learned about Disney dining, it's that you just have to go and see for yourself! This is probably the ADR I am most looking forward to!

Day seven is going to be a HUGE first! It marks the very first time that I have ever taken a whole day in Disney and NOT gone to a park. That's right folks, since we are there for 12 days, we had to pick an extra day to not go to a park. The first day is our arrival day.

So, what we have planned so far is...

Food! Lots and lots of food! Since we will have a rental car and a free day, we decided to try a few "off the beaten path" places.

For breakfast, we are headed to Olivia's Café. I have often fantasized about their banana bread French toast, but it has always been too complicated to get to using Disney transportation. I'm really looking forward to this one.

Then, the plan is to head over to Downtown Disney. We got two vouchers for free admission to Disney Quest in our arrival paperwork, and since we have a day to kill I figured it would be a great way to spend some time.

We have lunch plans at another favorite, Raglan Road. I haven't been there since my first trip, so I'm looking forward to heading back.

We may also try out Splittsville, or head back to the hotel for some time at the pool. Our rental car is due back at 3:00 PM and then its back to the bus life for us!

For dinner, we're headed to Kona Café to hopefully enjoy some amazing sushi!

So what are your best ideas for a non-park day at Disney?

I appologize for the lack of pictures in the updates! My goal is to simply FINISH before we leave for Milwaukee in TWO days!! Oh my word, I can't even believe I typed that! We leave in TWO. Days!

I will give you some updates on what we plan to do and our Fastpass+ reservations, ADRs, etc.

Day 8 we are headed to Kouzinna for breakfast. The plan is to take the bus to Hollywood Studios and then take the walking path from there to the Boardwalk. I have taken this walk on each one of my trips and it is always so beautiful in the morning!

Breakfast at Kouzinna is always so refreshing. It has always been deserted when I have been there!

After breakfast the plan is to take the boat back over to the Studios!

We will try and hit the big three in the morning and just wander about enjoying everything until its time for our lunch ADR!

For our lunch ADR, we are headed back to the Yacht Club to enjoy Captain's Grill.

In the afternoon, we have FastPass+ reservations for Voyage of the Little Mermaid at 2:20, Tower of Terror at 3:25 and Rock n' Roller Coaster at 4:35.

At 6:45 its time for Dinner at Sci Fi! This will be the first time I have tried them out, so I'm excited!

We will most likely skip Fantasmic! since we didn't want to waste a Fastpass and don't have the dining plan.

Today, it's off to EPCOT! We are really hoping to be able to see most of the Flower and Garden topiaries today. It would be even better if those food booths were open, but it sounds like we my be out of luck on that one!

I have a complete black thumb, but the Flower and Garden festival was one of my favorite parts of our trip in 2012. Here are a few of my favorite shots...

We have plans to have lunch at Via Napoli.

After Via Napoli, we have FastPass+ reservations for Mission: Space at 2:40 and Living With The Land (a waste, we know).

Then we have dinner at Biergarten and another Fastpass+, this time for Illuminations!
