DH and I want to take DS and his friend for short stay in Jan (his 16th birthday) - any input as to which would be better room choice for 2 teens - the boys definitely will not share a bed  , so was thinking a deluxe was the way to go, then got to wondering if a kid's suite would work better, giving us all a little more privacy - DH definitely snores and last week DD kept throwing things across the room at me through the night to make me roll over in my sleep - of course I think she's delusional ;) (and I had a really severe sinus infection!) - is there a door in the kid's suite to protect the poor, non-snoring sleepers?:smooth:

I hope someone gives you a good answer on this one! My 2 boys (15,18) didn't share a bed either---twin airbed worked fine the last 2 yrs, but now both are too tall for it for next year. As for the snoring.....my sons are as delusional as your dd! They've videoed dh snoring, but somehow I''m the one that wakes up surrounded by pretty much anything that's not tied down! Ds even had to buy new batteries for walkman while we were there. He never used it during the day, only at night to drown out noise..........hmmmmmm, what noise? lol good luck finding a solution! BTW, Star Services will bring you "anti-snore" pillows and sound machines...........neither of which worked for us!

have you seen pictures of the kids suite?? my DH acts like he is 16 and said it wasnt very cool. have you thought about a conecting room?? this would be as cost effective as a kids suite.

I too would opt for adding a room........... on our last trip however, my boys had to trade off sleeping with the little one........ LOL!!! We did the air mattress as well. We can't go that route anymore either........ so.... our next trip.... 2 rooms!!

Thanks for the advice - hadn't thought about 2 rooms, but then I didn't realize how much $$ the kid's suites were going for ! I think they'll have to 'suffer' through in a deluxe ( the AP rate off season is more my speed!) for 2 nights until they get to BWV - then they can close the door !:smooth:
