We have 2 little ones (ages 2 & 1) that we would like to stay at Flounders a few times, our older 2 are in the club and lab .(Mamma needs a break  ) The babies have never been in a group babysitting and have only really been watched by family and a neighbor before so I'm anticipating some separation anxiety. Will they allow them to bring their blankets with them to help them adjust? Do they allow parents to bring them in and stay play for a short time so they don't think they are being abandoned? From watching the video and seeing pictures, it looks like a small area and I thought they may not have enough room for parents to stay for some "getting used to it" time.

I also wondered if they will bring you warm milk from room service? My 2yo doesn't like it unless it's warm and the 1yo wants what ever her sister has!! I pick my battles and this is one that I'm not waging at this time. She just wants one when she's winding down and ready for a nap.
Thanks for any info you may have!! Amy :flower:

I don't have definite answers but since I know they want the children to be happy, it seems like bringing the blanket letting you come in for a few minutes is reasonable.

I think room service is pretty flexible so I can't see any reason why they couldn't bring warm milk.

I understand about picking the battles. I'm STILL doing that and the "little ones" are 26 and 29!.

Maybe this reply will bump it up so someone else who has cruised with the Flounder's set can reply.

Hi! I have been on several cruises and used Flouders every time. My daughter who is still 2 almost 3 hasalways been happy in there and in fact not ready to leave when we come. It is beautiful--obviously an underwater theme. It is much bigger than it would appear as they have sections for different ages(babies, crawlers, toddlers, older toddlers). The staff are great, friendly, warm, responsive so I am sure they would do all they could to accomodate you unless it would be against their regulations. They do art with the older ones, play games....I never have a doubt, fear or worry when I have left mine. I think your kids will do just fine and also remember you will have a beeper and they will call you if there is a problem.

Flounder's is great. Our 2 year old DD is never left with babysitters at home or daycare. She loved it there. I just signed her up for a bunch of days for our August cruise. It is the only time we get by ourselves!
We take her blanket and jammies at night. They dress her in her jammies, give her her sippy cup and she is asleep when we go get her.
