2 rooms, ADR booking question, Dividing the TS bill how to handle

So I am in the process of getting everything together and beginning stages of planning my Sweet little grandson 2nd birthday and 1st trip to see Mickey and the Gang. DD and I are planning but I want to be aware of how to handle these 2 things.

So I'm booking 2 rooms w/ DDXDP dinning plan, When booking I can just book everyone under 1 ADR and not have to link them to each room. Right?

Also one night DD and SIL are having a date night so when booking that just choose them for that and make another for myself, DH and DGS. Right?

When dinning just tell the server 2 checks - when ordering and then reminder the server to split the check... and it will be easy pease..Right?

Yes just make one reservation for the number of people you need. Number of people you can reserve for is not dependent on your resort booking.
You may have to book the reservations under separate accounts for the night you need 2 different ones. I don't think the system will let you have 2 ADRs under same name.

Book everyone together. Makes no difference what resort booking they are on, they don't even have to be staying at a resort at all.

It is possible that the system won't allow you to make two reservations on your own account at the same time. Maybe have someone else make the second reservation through their account, or call and explain that you are splitting your party.
