Hi. I am a new member planning our first trip to BLT and AK. BLT is our home so I would like to see both resorts in our first trip. I was thinking 3 weekdays at BLT and then moving to AK fo 2 weekdays and 2 weekend days. Is it hard to move from one resort to another or is this a bad idea? What views are the best at each resort? THANKS TIM

I can answer the moving from one resort to the next.....it is pretty painless. Bell service can take care of this for you.

Views.....not sure about those

Moving is painless. Best views at AKV would be savanna view. I haven't stayed at BLT, but wasn't impressed with the views when we visited.

Moving was easy. We did our first DVC stay last summer and to try out resorts, we did a split stay between 3 in 7 days. That was a bit much but I forsee us always doing a split between two. We rent a car and that makes it easier, but I did use bell services for one of the moves.

We have stayed at BLT twice so far with LV and SV rooms. With the LV room, we were on the norther end, even #'d room and had a view of the fireworks from the balcony to the left. For us, that was great.

Our SV room overlooked the pool area. Again, it had a partial LV. Both, IMO, were nice enough that I doubt I would ever spend the extra points for MK view rooms.

I have not stayed at AKV so can't help out there. Good luck!

Moving is easy but it will upset your day.

Pack and transfer luggage, check out by 11:00, go to new resort and check in, go do something for a few hours, go to new room and call Bell Services, wait for the Bell Person, unpack.

:) Bill

Moving is easy, as everyone has said. Bell services will even hold your fridge items in the fridge - just let them know when the come to pick up what needs to be in the fridge.
