2 quick ride questions (height requirement)..

Hi Everyone,

As often as we go to DL you'd think I'd know the answers to these questions, but I really don't. We're planning another trip to DL next week with DD4 & DD2 and we want to try to take them on a few rides they haven't been on before.

Here's the questions:

1)Will DD4 be able to ride on Splash Mountain? She is tall for her age (almost 45 inches).

2)Will DD2 be able to ride on the Canoes? She's about 36 inches. I can pretty much guarantee that she WON'T paddle because she's much too stubborn. Everytime I look at the canoes it appears as if EVERYONE is paddling. If so, do they provide life jackets for the little riders?

Height Minimums:

Splash Mountain: 40"

Davy Crockett Canoes: Life vests given to those age 6 and under. No height requirement that I can see. None listed in the current brochure from DL.

You should be good to go!

Absolutely! My pleasure!

We hit Splash Mountain last week at about 6:45 pm - didn't bother me, but the kids and hubby got soaked and really really cold. Just a word of warning! Once the sun goes down, the temp drops really fast - much much faster than here in Phoenix! So once there's no sun, if you're wet, you will be chilly. FYI ...
