I have 2 questions, I am sure that one of them is dumb so I apologize.....

1) Do you have to being staying at a Disney Property in order to make reservations at the restaurants (things like Goofy's Kitchen, Rainforest Cafe, etc).

2) How far in advance can you make reservations for the Fantasmic Desert Party? What is the recommended time frame for making reservations for a BIG group (possibly even renting the whole balcony, if that is possible)?

For example would it be possible to get tickets for this April/May or next December?

1. Nope, anyone can.
2. Dining reservations could be made 60 days out, but I think Fantasmic is 30.
You can't make reservations now for that far out. HTH!
