Hi!
I have two very different questions that I need help with:

1. Are local calls from the hotels free? We will be taking a laptop with us and have a local number for dialing out, but wasn't sure if we would be charged every time we dialed out.

2. For those of you who have made specific room number requests...have you gotten them?

Thanks everyone! :earboy2:

1. It is $.25 per call. I dialed up a few occasions. No worries.

2. Yes.

If you are staying at a Disney resort it is 75 cents per local call. No time limit. Bring the numbers and check at the front desk to make sure they are local.

Asking for specific room numbers may not get you anything. If you make an area request like put me in Jamaica you would have a better chance.

The only free call you can make from the phone in your room is to the front desk, dining etc. All other calls will cost you .75 each. We have had terrible luck on room requests. We always get fairly close to where we want to stay, but never like the first time. We always ask for an upper level room, facing pool and usually end up either in the building we want or in with a courtyard view next to the area we asked for.
