2 questions about refillable mugs at BC - Painless, I promise!

No debate here!

I know we can get our Beach Club mugs (which we will be purchasing on this trip and not bringing back ) filled up at Hurricane Hannah's. Can we also have them filled at Beaches and Cream? Anyplace else?

Also, last time we stayed at the WL they had, in addition to the traditional type of refillable mugs, the kind with the skinny bottom designed for use in a car - like travel style mugs. Does anybody know if they have that kind at the Beach Club?

I know you can refill them at Beaches and Cream, and at the coffee bar in the lobby...can't remember the name of that small place.

You can fill them up at Beaches and Cream (take out line only), Hurricane Hannah's and the coffee bar in the lobby (I believe it has limited hours though). I only recall seeing the regular kind of mugs, not the travel ones. You must buy the mugs at Hurricane Hannah's or take them from your room. I don't believe they sell them at Beaches and Cream. They might sell them in the gift shop, but I'm not sure about that one.

The mugs in the rooms cost more than the ones at Hurricane Hannah's or Beaches and Cream!

We're staying at the YC in June -- if we get refillable mugs at the YC, can they also be used at Beaches and Cream? What about in the area of SAB? I'm asking because the YC and BC are like sister resorts - right? Sorry, but I haven't been to WDW in years.

Yes, you can get your mug filled at all the BC locations, as BC guests can also use the lounge at the YC as well. The places at the Yacht and Beach club that fills up mugs are:

Martha Vineyard's Lounge at YC (I think that's the name of the lounge)
Beaches and Cream take out line
Hurricane Hannah's
Riptide Lounge (Coffee Bar in the AM) at BC


They sell the same mugs regardless of which resort you're staying in, so it doesn't matter where you get a refill. Just be aware that you have to wait for someone to refill the mug, there is no self-service place at Yacht and Beach like at the values, mods or the other deluxes with the exception of BW.

Unless you're just looking for a keepsake, the mugs at BC are more trouble than they are worth. You have to stand in line and wait for someone to refill the mug for you. Beaches and Cream can get pretty busy as well as the pool area.
