I have 2 questions. First let me say that my DW has MS and has a handicap parking pass due to limitations of walking long distances.

1 - My DW & DD will be going from our resort BC to the tea party at the GF. At the same time my DS & I will be going to BB. What is the best way for us to do that?

2 - We are all going to dinner at 'Ohanas then on to the MK for EMH. On this one I was thinking about driving to the Poly, then taking the monorail to MK for the late night. return to Poly at 2am!!! then head back to BC in our car. Is that possible or is there a better way?

Thanks,

Last September I was with a friend that has a handicapped pass. When we went to Ohana for dinner, then over to MK for the evening...just what you are doing, we were able to stay parked at the Poly, take the boat over and back (or the monorail, doesn't matter).

The first one, I would just take the bus to BB for you and your son and let your wife drive over to the GF and park there. BB is pretty close to BC and the GF is pretty far and they would end up having to transfer anyway from bus to monorail...so driving is much easier! And I might be wrong on this one, but someone else might know. Some of the resorts offer FREE valet parking for handcapped drivers. I know for a fact that Wilderness Lodge does. GF might as well, considering their parking is not right out front.

Unless it is a very slack time you will only be allowed three hours in the Poly or Grand Flo parking lots if you are not staying at those resorts. So you are better off parking at the TTC and riding the monorail from there.

While there may be special arrangements for handicapped drivers, these arrangements cannot continue of lots of non-resort guests catch on and use resort lots for their park visits.

Often valets will gladly take a tip instead of enforcing the 3 hour rule.
