Ok, so here's the scenario: My friend and I are going to WDW in January for the Marathon weekend (she's running the 1/2, I'm going Goofy!). She's not as into the Disney magic as I am (this will be my 3rd trip in a year
) so she probably won't want to spend as many days down there as I do. Right now, I have a room only reservation for us, thinking that we'll just get separate park hoppers with the specific number of days that each of us wants to go. This way, when she leaves early, I'll just have to cover the entire cost of the room for the nights that I'm there alone.
There don't seem to be any room-only (non FL resident) deals for that time period, but there is a free upgrade to park hopper pass deal. Does anyone know if it is possible to have 2 people have different # of days on a package share the same room? Or does everyone in the same room have to be on the exact same package?? I'm guessing that it is the latter since that is their requirement for the dining plan. I'm just curious is there is any other way for us to book our trip. I'm always looking for ways to save more money on the ressie to spend in the parks.
Any advice?
