2 parks in one day plausible?

I'm thinking about bringing a group of college students down in early January. Is it possible to see the main attractions at both parks in one long day?
We would want to do:
Hogsmeade and Diagon Alley
Simpsons
Spider-Man
Transformers
Men in Black
Minions

Is this plausible?

If by early January you mean the 1st through about the 3rd or 4th it's going to be tough. Christmas to New Years is the busiest time in Orlando and the busy time spills over from the Friday before Christmas to the Saturday or Sunday after (large amounts of people fly home on Sunday so that day starts getting better). If you're looking at the 5th or later (which is when I'm also visiting), it should be much less busy and much easier to do the highlights of both parks in one day.

The second week of January or later, your list should be easily doable plus more. New years day, unless you exclusively go through the single rider line, even your limited list is potentially ambitious.
