It looks like we may be able to get in only one day at US/IOA in June. 2 days just won't work out.

If we plan to arrive early and ride only the best of the best in one park and then go to the second park (buy express pass?) and do the same, would that work?

I also have some other questions...
1) Which park would you do first(early) w/o Exp Pass and which would you go to second with the Exp Pass?

2) What ride order would be best?

We really want to ride the following (anything else would be gravy)

IOA:
Hulk, Spiderman, Dr Doom, Dueling Dragons

US:
Ride It Rockit, Simpsons, Mummy, MIB

If you get there prior to park opening and are in line at the turnstiles when the park opens you can cover quite a bit of ground before the lines start to form.

I would go to IOA first and get Hulk, Dr. Doom, Spiderman and Dueling Dragons in.

Then I would go over to US and to Ride it Rockit, Mummy, Men in Black and Simpsons.

I would then start getting in anything else you want to do.

We stayed off-site our last trip and found that the lines really didn't start to form until about 11 am and really didn't get bad until about 1 pm. If you get there early enough you may find that you can get all these rides in, at least once, without the express pass. The day we went to IOA first my kids did Hulk, Dr. Doom, Spiderman, Dudley Do-Right, Popeye and Jurassic Park, all either walk on or with a minimal wait time (ie less than 15 min). The day we did US we did Jimmy Neutron, Shrek, Mummy, Earthquake (now Disaster), and Men in Black with little to no wait, all by being at the turnstiles when the park opened.

That order looks fine to me so by getting to the parks early, you should be able to hit those at IOA w/o too much trouble. Since the HR3 hasn't opened yet, I won't speculate on that ride but again...the order is fine. You may not need the EP at the Studios either...you should wait and see.

We always hit the parks early and since we don't ride Hulk or Dr Doom we manage to get IOA done pretty easily. Our problems come at the Studios and we never know where we'll get bogged down. We've had enormous waits at Jaws and once even at ET.

I would definitely hit Spiderman as early as possible and then if you love it as much as we do, you might be able to ride it again. I'd also get to Mummy quickly but then Mummy is my absolute favorite ride anywhere so I'm biased. ;)
