Any advice which park I should go to first and which one second? Went to both the parks (each on their own day) in 06 but haven't been since and are only spending the one day there this time. Any advice is appreciated.

Depending on when you're going and what you're going for, I would go to IOA first to get WWoHP out of the way and then head to the Studios for the remainder of the time. You probably won't get to do much if the crowds for WWoHP are really big so keep that in mind. If you don't care about seeing WWoHP, go to whichever park you'd like.

I am by no means an expert, but I was there on 12/22/10 (it was a zoo!) and we went to IoA then US. We got to IoA at rope drop. However, we seemed to be moving with the crowds all day! US was a little ligher when we got there around 2, but the crowds continued to build into the night. We headed back to IoA around 9 for some more butter beer and IoA was practically dead. Lesson learned: most people seem to do IoA then US, therefor you want to do the opposite!

We are going in late September. I am going to go to Uni on a weekday, hoping the crowds will be less?? I do want to see WWoHP, definitely!

That's a great time to go...the crowds won't be bad at all...except maybe for WWoHP. The rest of the parks will be pretty quiet. Keep in mind that Halloween Horror Nights starts at the end of September at the Studios and the park closes at 5pm on those nights. If you are visiting on one of the HHN nights, go to the Studios first and then head over to IOA.
