2 parks 1 day on 1 day tickets and FP+

Is it possible to use 2 separate 1 day/1 park ticket on the same day and make FP+ to 2 different parks?

I'm trying to decide between a 3 day parkhopper ticket ($370) versus a 4day 1 park/1 day ticket ($380). We don't really park hop but would like to on one day for a dining reservation and repeat some of our favorite rides. These are Disney prices... yeah, I know I can probably find cheaper tickets and it is still more money but it will enable us to get the extra FP+ potentially. I'm really curious if the method would work.

No. You’ll need to have park hopper tickets to hop between parks.

Two separate 1 day/1 park tickets, yes. But you appear to be asking about 2 days of a single 4 day 1 day/1 park ticket—in which case, no.

Ah thanks. So a 3day 1park + a 1day 1park ticket would work, i assume? But doesn't make sense financially.

There are FP tips for park hopping in the FP FAQ Addendum Sticky. You can book for Park#2 as soon as you use 1 FP in Park#1.

Unless I misunderstand your statement, you decide where you are going first and you can pick 3 FP's for that park. Once used up you can then make another for a different park with a park hopper. Use that one and you can make another and so on. I did that last year when I went to Epcot in the morning and used 3 and then once that was done I set one up for MK and went there after lunch.

You can only pre-book FP+ at one park per day. You can make additional FP+ at a different park after you have tapped in for the last pre-booked one if you want to.
