We (4 Adults) will be attempting to do both parks in on day on May 19th and I have a ton of questions. Is this doable? Should I purchase the Express pass? How busy do you think it will be? What rides does anyone suggest? Thanks for your answers.

You can wait to purchase the express pass when you get there. Most (all?) of the shops sell them. No idea on how busy. You can do both in one day if you skip some attractions.

IOA
Hulk - coaster
(Skip Dr. Doom its a long wait for a lousy ride)
Spiderman - Absolute best ride in any park in Orlando
If you don't mind getting soaked the 2 water rides are fun.
Jurassic Park
Dueling Dragons
Harry Potter may be open by then.
The 2 shows are OK but probably no worth the time.

US
Jimmy Newtron
Shrek
Mummy
Jaws
Men In Black
Simpsons - love it
Terminator

With an express pass you should be probably able to do all of the above in one day if you don't waste time.

Since May 19th is a Wednesday, you should not have to battle long waits unless Harry Potter happens to open by then which is doubtful. You should always wait to purchase Express Plus passes once you arrive and can see what kind of wait times you have. They are date specific and non-refundable.

I would recommend all the shows and attractions...I can't just select a few. But that will be tough considering you're doing both parks in a single day.

We do both parks in a single day all the time without using Express passes. We usually skip every show but sometimes we will do Beetlejuice or Horror Makeup for a change of pace.

I was going to ask a similar question.

We would be going to both parks (3 adults), the 3 of april (holly weekend?), and i was wondering if we should get the FastPass or not..

Thoughts?

From what I've heard, spring break crowds are pretty heavy at times. Your best bet would probably be to wait until you get there and then decide if you want to buy a pass.

That sounds fine, but don't they have a limited number of free pass?

There are no free passes and haven't been free since 2005. You either have to stay onsite to get unlimited Express or purchase the EP.

Sorry, i mean to say Fast Pass.

Isn't it a limited number of Fast Passes?

FastPasses are Disney and Express Plus passes are Universal. They sell a limited number but the chances of the EP's being sold out is slim to none for that time period.

How much does the Express Pass cost? It is good for only one ride per attraction, right?

The kids and I are going to Orlando tomorrow :yay: and I just started thinking we should go to Universal for one of our days. I am not very planned out this trip.;)

It depends on the anticipated crowd level for that particular day. Check the website and put in your dates to see how it is one day you're going. And yes...it's good for one trip through the Express line.

Thanks.
Where do you put in your dates?:confused3
