DH, me, and 2 DDs will be going to Orlando this June. We will be at WDW from June 2 until June 9th. We were thinking of extending our trip to June 12th and spending 3 days at Universal studios. We will also be doing a RCL in October from October 12 until 19, but because of the cost of flights, we will be arriving on October 10th (around 1 pm) and leaving a day after returning to port (on October 20th), so we will have about 1 full day and 2 half days that we think we should spend time at Universal studios.
I checked the prices of Universal studio tickets and noticed that they are about the same as Annual power passes. So, is it worth buying power passes for 3 days in June and 1 full day and 2 half days in October? There is always a possibility that we will go back next June (the first week), but with all the college visits we will have next year, there is not guarantees. So what do you think? By the way, when will the ticket gets activated? The first day of use or the day we buy it? Thanks for your help.

I am looking at these too, but there is no self parking including in the Annual Power Pass, only Preferred Pass.

Parking is $16 per day. You can do the math on whether it would be better to get the Preferred for at least one person and the Power Pass for the others.

Tickets are activated the day you use them. The Power Pass is an excellent buy. It will get you hotel discounts as well. Use the code APH here to see your prices...

Thank you. I just added APH as the code and didn't get any discount for our dates 6/9 to 6/12 and 10/10 to 10/12. Is it because they are not available for annual pass holders or I am doing something wrong?

Thanks. We don't need the parking because we will be using taxis or a shuttle for June. In October, we will probably rent a car from the port to Universal for one day. We did that 3 years ago going on a DCL cruise and it was very easy.

October rates wouldn't be out yet. I'm seeing rates for the first week of June but not the second. That might mean that they are anticipating big crowds by then or it just might be that they aren't out for that far ahead yet.

Thanks again damo. I'll keep looking.
