2 Officers shot in Dallas tonight during police protest rally

Three cops are now dead. This black against white stuff needs to stop. We should all respect each other. My kids are half and half and I want to keep my kids safe. Most of these people being shot do not have a good background at all and look for trouble.

The news is shoved down our throats 24/7. In the 'olden days' these stories would have led, but they would have been reported and then they would have moved on to weather. Now, cnn, fox, et all show it non stop. I can't believe we are now at the point where we are actually being shown shootings on tv..real, graphic, up close shootings. It's too much..too much.

I wish they would stop putting this stuff on tv it gives other people ideas

Now they are reporting that another officer has been shot bringing the number to 11. The shooters are still on the loose.

News is showing one of the shooters and asking for help in identifying. They are hunting police officers to shoot.

It's all good to me as well. I just wanted to note that your comments, and how another person might perceive them, could vary a great deal. I think we all fall into that because intent is so hard to read in text form. I honestly was just trying to give some insight as to how or why another person might be misunderstanding the intent in the words you were presenting.

This morning I actually cried thinking about what could happen to my son, nephews.... Now the tears have returned thinking about the officers and their families.


This can't/shouldn't be happening. We are better than this

Unlike some on this forum, the media and our political leaders, I'm going to wait until there are more facts before I place blame. The reality of all this is; a man is dead in Minnesota, a man dead in Louisiana, and now 4 officers dead in Dallas. Absolutely disgusting.
