Thought I'd post this as I've seen this come up tonight - it's funny as it's not advertised as an offer, but when you put dates in, it's there.

I can't decide if £1252 is too much for 4 nights at the DLH next May though (that's for 1 adult as we'll get APs for the rest).... don't know whether to wait and see if a flash sale comes along on the French site nearer the time, but it's a long time to wait!

Not sure what to do :scared:.

Yes, that offer's been coming up for a while but just not advertised. My finger keeps hovering over the last week of August ;) but DH really wants to go back for Halloween so we'll probably wait until those dates are released and then compare prices. Hate waiting :headache: I like things to be booked!

Are you looking for the half-term week in May? We went that week five years ago (goodness, just realised it was five years ago today!!!) that was booked with a 30% offer, I kept looking right up to the last minute and there were never any better offers, even on the French site. If we go in August I'd like to stay at the New York because I'm not particularly impressed with the DLH pool, won't mind where we stay in October, although when my DD went in August two years ago it rained every day and her cossy stayed in her case!

Don't you just wish you had Madame Leota's crystal ball?! :teeth:

i've been checking the best deals for next July (based on this year's July dates offers so far) like a maniac, so far the best price for our party (ie no-one aged under 7) for 4 nights was actually the UK offer in early Feb this year, which was 30% off plus free half board. This was a better deal than the 2 nights free on a 4-night stay - based on this July's price, and next July's with the current UK and Ireland offer price.

Thank you both Elaines!

Ware Bears - there was a flash sale on the French site this year which covered this May half term - I think it was 40% off, but as the French site usually starts with a lower base price than the UK, it was cheaper. I thought I'd made a note of the price though at the time, and now I can't find it. I think it was about March? But that then means waiting until March 2017 to book - assuming they repeat it. I know it's only 1 person, but I think £1252 isn't a bad price for the DLH. I just have a feeling that the French site may have a better offer but it will be much, much nearer the time. Yes, I need that crystal ball from Madame Leota :rotfl2:.

DLPDaft - I'm not too fussed about HB but then I guess if we did do DLH, then the vouchers would mean we can eat anywhere - although limited to set meals unless we use at face value. I am a SH and also plan on getting an AP, so we will be able to get meal discounts, which makes me feel the money off the hotel itself deal would be better for us.

I just can't decide. I was thinking of booking online and going through Quidco but the cb offer isn't that fantastic atm. Think I'd be better to ring up to book and just pay deposit for now.

The thing is, if I book on this offer and then see a better one, I'm guessing I wouldn't be able to swap as I couldn't upgrade or anything as there's nothing to upgrade too - other than a suite which aint happening! :lmao:
