2 Nights @ AS + 5 Nights @ WL + 3 Night DCL + 2 Nights at BW = Our Vacation COMPLETE

Sounds like you had a great time. My best vacations where when we just did what we wanted and didn't run all over trying to do every thing.

Great updates Natale!! It looks like you had tons of fun! We ate at Trails End for BF buffet but not dinner. What did they serve for dinner??

Can't wait for date night!!

:cutie: Love the update... :surfweb: I can't wait to read about your date night. That is such a nice idea switching of with your brother like that...

Date night was fun but it went by too quickly! I'll have an update shortly.

Sounds like you had a great time. My best vacations where when we just did what we wanted and didn't run all over trying to do every thing.

It was really the only way we could have done it with the two kids. We'll just have to take longer vacations so we make sure we don't miss anything! Right now I have 16 nights booked for next January!! :woohoo: (gotta love the DVC!!!)

Hi! I'm enjoying your TR! I'd never heard of the train tour before - I love hearing about all these neat things to do at WDW! No matter how many times you go, there is always something new.
I am totally with you about having some alone time w/ your firstborn - we just had our second child 3 months ago, and I really cherish getting to do something with just DD #1!
Look forward to hearing more! :goodvibes

Then the day started it get tricky... we had to take a bus to EPCOT & Transfer on to a bus to the Caribbean Beach Resort.
On the bus... hey Skylar isn't screaming... take a picture!!
2009208.jpg

We called my brother and told him to meet us at the bus stop so that we could just hand them the kids without getting off the bus. We got a few strange looks from everyone on the bus but it worked out and we headed back to EPCOT.

the nice bus driver gave us fast passes for test track

We had a little while before our dinning reservations so we road the new Spaceship Earth ride. I liked the changes. The only big changes were to the end and that part needed change.

It was now time for dinner!!! Whoo Hoo!! I had wanted to eat at LaCellier for several years and finally got a reservation.

We were called shortly after we checked in. The food really was amazing! (I'm sure it helped that I didn't have to cut up any one's food and feed them)

We called and checked in with the kids and everything was good. We went over to Test Track to use our fast passes - it was already time to meet up with the kids. Michael, Steph and the kids were waiting for us at the big pin station by Spaceship Earth. We road Spaceship Earth with the kids and it was getting very late.

Time to go back to our resort. Goodnight!

What an awesome date night! I just love Le Cellier!! I can't wait to be back there again!!

What a great day! I loved the photo of Skylar sleeping in her stroller. It reminded me of my DS. He always flips over and sleeps on his tummy with his buns in the air. Everyone we pass seems to get a little kick out of it! They are so cute at that age.

What did you get at LeCellier? We are going again in August...I got dinner ressies for 9!!! can you believe it!

:lovestruc:lovestruc:lovestruc I am really enjoying your trip report, and the kids are so cute! Sounds like Miss Skylar has a mind of her own...but you guys seem to be having fun, notwithstanding the toddler moments :)

I love the photo of Dexter in front of the balloons! So adorable!

Sounds like y'all had a fun date night, too!

Great report! You have such a beautiful family. :) And I know who's lime Mickey head tag that is! I'm going to send her over to your report.

I just found your report and gobbled it all up in one sitting. Loving it! You have such a beautiful family. Looks like it was a magical trip!!

I think that HAVE to be cute at that age cause there so stinking bad! :rotfl2: OK I guess she's not bad... but she is crazy and keeps me on my toes and out of my bed at night.

I don't remember what I ordered... some sort of steak. It was very good. You can always try and call to get an earlier reservation... but it will be good no matter what time you eat!

OH MY GOODNESS!!! Skylar has NO idea she is only 16 months old!!! That crazy girl! My mom says she makes her nervous cause she already is acting like a teenager!! :lmao:
We did have alot of fun... it was just alot harder with two kids rather then just one. Who knew? :confused3

Such a nice date night... the photo of you and your dh look so nice. :cutie:

Thanks! Our date nights don't happen that often anymore, so it's extra special to get away alone.

I love the photo of Dexter in front of the balloons! So adorable!

Sounds like y'all had a fun date night, too!

Good thing they didn't make us buy all of those balloons! :)

Great report! You have such a beautiful family. :) And I know who's lime Mickey head tag that is! I'm going to send her over to your report.

I thought it was too funny when I found the lime green Mickey head... I just had to take a picture!

Thanks for joining us!
It was magical... I can't wait until next January to go again.

FAMILY UPDATE:

Skylar got some sort of tummy bug and got really sick on Sunday... then when she was finally starting to keep food down Dexter and me got sick. Mine only lasted 24 hours. (but I think that's because mommies are only allowed to be sick for 24 or less hours) Dexter got really sick and still has only eaten a tiny tiny bit of food. But at least we can get him to drink now.
It is so sad to see tiny people in that much pain. :sad2:
We all seem to be on the mend now... so hopefully it's all over with.

VACATION UPDATE:

I cancelled our anniversary cruise in September. The thought of leaving the kids (especially after this sick week) was too tough to deal with. I think we'll wait until they get older. Instead I bought tickets to a cubs game and we'll spend the day downtown. We are still going to leave the kids with my parents - BUT - at least we'll be in the same country! :scared:
As soon as the 2011 dates come out we are going to book a 7 night-er.

TR UPDATE:

I'm working on it right now... so it should be up shortly.

Thanks for reading!!! :flower3:

This was the worst / hardest morning ever!! I woke up not feeling the greatest - had a bit of a head cold.

After I finished getting myself ready I got Skylar out of bed and pretty as a princess. We were going to the princess breakfast in EPCOT today so it was just us two girls going out. :lovestruc

Skylar, me and her stroller made it down to the buses. I was getting so mad because while we were waiting for an EPCOT bus 4 Animal Kingdom buses went by. Also I was standing there talking to another family when I heard a
**GUSH** followed by some sprinkles... Skylar wet here diaper so bad that it exploded!!!:scared1: She was wearing a dress so fortunately I didn't have to change her clothes but I did have to change her diaper. I'm sure there were a bunch of people who were grossed out but I went over to the bench and changed her outside. I had already been waiting for a bus FOREVER and didn't want to risk missing one. It's a good thing I didn't leave the area too... because right after I changed her diaper a bus showed up.

Wouldn't you know it - the bus ride was not fun. She wasn't screaming this time, but she sure was squirming. Not only was I alone - already frustrated - I also had to hold the stroller. This is when I came to the realization that single moms are rock-stars. When we finally met up with Steph and Emmie we had been traveling for over an hour.

We rushed over to Norway for breakfast. Trisha was going to meet us there BUT I guess I had forgotten to tell her that our breakfast was at EPCOT not the Magic Kingdom. oops me! So she was a little late. Our reservations were at 8:55 and we sat down at 10:00.

The breakfast was OK - It's nice that they include the picture with the price of your meal now. But I don't think we'll be going back until Skylar is much older and likes princesses.

We called up the boys and we met up with them at the big pin station. My brother was in a bad mood because he got a speeding ticket on the way to the park. I guess it was a hard morning for everyone.

Trisha was still with us and wanted to do some shopping. That was fine with us because she got 50% off everything in the stores because she was a cast member!!! We went a little crazy and our total came to $380 - BUT we only had to pay $190 for it. Still a lot of money but we bought all of our souvenirs for the trip and some other stuff I didn't thin we could afford.

I'm not sure why, but we ended up at Figment again.

We all played a little bit inside and out.

My two favorite things in life are smiles like this and baby laughter... you just know it's not forced... they are truly happy.

We stopped for some Ice Cream.

Dexter is so white he glows!!! :lmao:

We knew we would be going back to EPCOT so we decided (somehow) to venture over to MGM. Trisha took the bus with us, while Michael and his family drove. We went on one of my favorite rides, The Great Movie Ride. I thought Skylar would fall asleep... no luck. Skylar and me rushed off to the mothers room with the hope of a nap... didn't happen. It was very hot and loud in that mothers room. Definitely my least favorite of all the parks.

Skylar was getting very crabby so we said goodbye to Trisha (my bro and his family still hadn't showed up) and left for our resort.

Oh cute is your family??? So CUTE!!!:)
I am loving your trip report. I didn't know that the barber shop did all that...hmmmm.
We love the LeCellier, its a must do. We have never done Whispering Canyon, that looks good.
Anyway i am hooked :)

This is when the hardest day of our trip turned into the nicest. We arrived back at our resort and Sky still did not want to sleep. So her and Dexter played in the room while Shawn and I talked outside on the balcony. We were just relaxed out there and the kids were happy as can be inside. There was something about that moment that was perfect. It was just the four of us and everything was good... no stress... no feelings of urgency to get
something done... nothing... just nice. And then it got just a little bit better. (no skylar did not fall asleep) ;)

Skylar took her first steps!!! And the crazy thing is, once she took those first steps, she was walking like she had been doing it forever. She was just walking around the whole room and when it was time to leave she almost walked the whole way the the elevator herself.

OK - time for relaxed family afternoon to be over. We have dinning reservations at Chef Mickey!!! We took the boat from our resort to the Magic Kingdom. Skylar was really getting fussy! By the time we got on the monorail she really wasn't happy! We checked in for dinner once we got to the Contemporary resort. Once I put Skylar back on the floor so that she could walk around she was happy once again. There was a short wait and then it was time for us to eat.

Dinner was good and I will try to get reservations again for our next trip. Dexter loved Mickey, Minnie, Donald, Goofy & Pluto.

Yumm!!!
2009250.jpg

Skylar was starting to warm up to them, but we didn't make her take pictures. We went back to the resort right after dinner. It was getting late and I had alot to do still!!! We were leaving for our cruise the next day!!!!

Shawn and the kids fell asleep and I did two loads of laundry. It was after midnight and it was time to try and get some sleep.

LONG DAY!!! goodnight!
