2 liter bottles of "pop" at POP???

We stayed at All Star Movies this past summer and I'm thinking it was around $3.50 for a 2-liter that was chilled in the cooler.

Didn't see where you were from, but I always like to bug my nothern friends about "pop". Everything here in Nashville is called Coke --- Pepsi, Mt. Dew, Sprite and yes, Coke. :rotfl:

Ahhh, I left the north years ago and I smile everytime I hear "pop." I miss it. Life was so much simpler...now I know "Coke" "Soda" and "Cola."

We were just at Pop on Sunday night and I did see them in the store for $3.18 (I think?).

We were just there over Thanksgiving, and yes you can get 2 Liters in the Food Court area... I believe they were $3.49 each.. If you drink alot of soda though, you would make out better by purchasing a refillable mug...!!

Enjoy your trip.

Thanks for all the help guys! It's funny to be called a Yankee when I say pop, seeing as I am from the Carolinas! {Just a New England transplant - and I STILL freeze every winter, even though I ice fish, snow shoe and ski - probably why I want to go to warm places like WDW and DL in January and February! LOL! :rotfl: }

I was born and raised in Tennessee and this made me laugh. When you ask someone if they want a Coke and they say yes, my natural response would be what kind? Mt. Dew, Pepsi, or whatever. :flower:

Yep, $3.49 in the cooler. We just got back from POP and bought them twice. We would get in late from the parks and be too tired to go to the room, get the mugs and go back, so we grabbed a 2L. Much cheaper than the $2.50 they want in the drink machine near the room for a 20oz coke!! They came in handy for the room, but I have never paid anywhere near that amount for a 2L. In my hometown we pay about 99 cents!!

That's too funny. I was reading this post to my DH (New Yorker) and telling him.."you see?? I told you it's all a Coke, then you ask what kind!" :rotfl2:
He always thought I was nuts! I always wondered if this was just a Texas thing, but seeing that you are from TN I suppose it's a southern thing. :flower:

My husband's grandmother lived in Dallas all her life, and not only did she call all soft drinks "coke", but she called all juices "orange juice". In the morning, she would ask you, "What kind of orange juice do you want for breakfast? I have orange, tomato, or apple." :rotfl2:
