2 hour weekend trip

During our 2 week stay, we have a free weekend and would like to know of any suggestions for an over night stay away from WDW that would be interesting besides the orlando area?

Vero Beach, St Pete Beach, Treasure Island, St Augustine, Clearwater, Marco Island, the Keys...........there are just so many beautiful places to go and see with all types of adventures and budgets in mind.

As a FL resident, I concur that there's plenty to see and do here.

What are your interests? St. Augustine has lots of history and nice restaurants. Tampa/St. Pete has Busch Gardens if you're interested in more theme parks.

You might want to consider a couple days on the coast since Orlando is landlocked.
