Just read about this on the WDW boards but since you can use your 2 free tix at either LL Florida or California I thought I would post on the DLR boards as well.

If you join their VIP club, you will get 2 free admissions to use between Oct. 24 and 30th. (Closed T & W). And $10 off all other admissions.:thumbsup2

We won't be in Florida to use these but we will be back in time to go to LL-Calif. that week. DD12 is out of school that month and it shouldn't be too busy if we go on a M or Th.

LL is a cute little park and I figured DD wouldn't be going again since parts of it are too young for her but for free, we are going! Plus my DNephew won't be 3 yet so he can go as well. :goodvibes

In order to join the VIP club you have to make a purchase online, or pick up one in a Lego Store. I will stop in at the one in DTD to get one for me and one for my DSis (limited to 2 free tix per household).

CLICK HERE FOR 2 FREE LEGOLAND TICKETS. OCT. 24-30, 2011.

LL is open from 10-5 weekdays, and 10-6 weekends.

Their Halloween party (Brick or Treat) is from 5-9 p.m. on Sat. and Sunday and is inc. with a regular days ticket. So you could go on Sat. or Sunday and use your free tickets for that as well.

Every Saturday and Sunday in October, the Brick-Or-Treat Trail offers candy, healthy snacks and a few surprises along the way.

Saturday: Noon to 5pm

Sunday: Noon to 8pm
This is a little confusing as the park isn't open late on Sundays, or so it seems, but is open until 9 on Saturdays.??

Brick-or-Treat Party Nights is back and better than ever! It’s a one-of-a-kind party every Saturday Night in October from 5pm-9pm.
Best of all, it’s FREE with a paid one-day admission or with your Membership Plus Pass.

Several monstrously fun areas of LEGOLAND are open late for Party Nights, including Land of Adventure, Castle Hill, the Imagination Zone and Park favorites Coastersaurus, Safari Trek and Fairy Tale Brook.

Wonder how crowded it is on those days? Anyone ever been to the Brick or Treat?

Hope someone can take advantage of this.

I just sent LL an email since I think there is an error on their site re: Sat. and Sun. I think they reversed the times. How can you trick or treat until 8 p.m. on Sunday if they close at 5 pm.? I'll post here when I get a response.

Hi DisneyDaz! :goodvibes

If we go into the stores, do we still buy something? So basically you have to buy something to get this VIP Club card?

Just wanted to verify before I ran down there... I wish I would have read this post yesterday; we were at DL all day!

Hi Feisty!

I don't know. It's not real clear about in the stores but you have to buy something online to get it.I figure if I have to buy something, I'll buy the cheapest thing I can. :)

I'm going to have to be going to DLR soon (to buy my Gallery PP CD before we go to WDW and check into a Premiere AP upgrade) so I'll let you know, unless you go sooner, then you can let me know. I've already printed out my coupon and one for my sister. That way all we need is to join the VIP club and get the welcome email.

How was it yesterday? We haven't been since the start of Halloweentime. DD12 has basketball and softball which kind of puts a kink in things. Plus this weekend she's celebrating her birthday with a few friends. Thinking of going to Newport Beach. :sunny: Maybe we could go after the beach?

So that means between now and Oct 6th (day before we leave for WDW) we could go tomorrow-after school and practice, Sunday after a day at the beach (probably not) Monday-after school and practice, Wed-after school and girl scouts, Thursday after school and practice, Friday, after 1/2 day at school and skip practice (hmmm, that's an idea) Sat. 10/1 after 9 a.m. softball game (that might work), Sunday 10/2-even better-go early, get our bodies ready for EST time. And then we can go Mon 10/3-Thursday 10/6 anytime since DD is off track. Decisions, decisions!

It's amazing how school and 2 sports can take up so much time! It was so much easier when she was younger and didn't have a life!;)

Anyway if you go before I do can you let me know. Thanks!:goodvibes

I sent an email to LL about their Halloween event and there does seem to be an error on their site. They have a Halloween party every Saturday during October so you can use the free ticket on Sat. the 29th. They have a Brick or Treat Trail that is open on Sat. and Sun, until park closing (5 p.m.) Then from 5-9 on Saturday they are having some additional Halloween activities and your regular admission lets you stay for that as well. Sounds like fun but I'm thinking of doing Mon. or Thursday-I figure those will be the least crowded days. Hey, if you do decide to go and we go on the same day maybe we could drive down together and save on gas. My house is on the way there from yours. ;) If not, no big deal.
