:) I'm taking Mama & Daddy to WDW in October and since they are 82 yrs young and 83 with various ailments, they will be riding through the parks. I have seen that the time to wait for and ride on a bus from GF to either AK or HS can be a long time.

We will have a rental car, but I'm wondering if we can fit 2 ECV in a rental. Thoughts?

No. Several years ago I was visiting with friends, and one of them had broken her ankle to weeks earlier. We had gotten there before them and went over to the car Rental and explained the situation. We tried everything available, up to and including a Cadillac and nothing worked. We had a total of six people in the group and the SUVs did not have enough room.

What we ended up doing for when we needed two ECVs was a few people, including one with an ECV, using Disney transportation and the rest driving. The only times/places we could go all at once was when we were going to a restaurant and I could do without mine.

Well dang. Thank you for sharing. We'll have 4 folks. I had wondered about a mini van or suv since we would only be using the 1st 2 rows of seats. I know Daddy gets impatient when he has to wait a long time and I fear the bus system might prove to be a bad thing. I guess we could also take a change and rent a scooter at the HS and AK but then we already would have paid for the ones back at the resort.

Hmmm...I need to think on this a bit. :scratchin

With four of you, I think you will be fine with a mini van or an SUV. My dad drives a Saturn Aura (sedan) and we can fit my customized wheelchair and his ECV in the trunk.

With a bigger vehicle, I think you'll be ok. Keep in mind you will have to take both apart most likely. As long as the ECVs aren't the ginormous ones like the ones from the parks or grocery stores, I wouldn't anticipate a problem.

I agree since you are only 4 and would need only 2 rows of seating, you should be okay with 2 EVCs in a minivan or 3 row SUV. An SUV that does not have a third row will likely not have a large enough space for 2 EVCs. You should probably put the bases in first and then the other pieces.

It depends on how heavy your parents are they have different size scooters for different size people my wife and I got 2 scooters in the trunk of a Chevy Impala it wasn't easy but we did it if the scooters were any bigger it wouldn't have worked. Contact one of the scooter companies we used Apple they have scooters that are not listed on the web site we were able to get a size in between the ones listed
