I haven't stayed there yet but please give us as much info on the Beach club as you can and maybe post some pictures of the rooms.

We are staying there for the first time this summer.
Have a great time

Have a great time!! :)

We've stayed at the BC once and the YC three times and have loved it every time! Great location.

Hope you get swimming weather as Stormalong Bay is a terrific pool.

Say hi to the ducks for me! They are near the beach and the waiting area for the ferry. For my kids (3 & 7) feeding the ducks is one of their favorite things about Disney!

Walking around the BC/YC area at night is simply wonderful. EPCOT is our favorite park so we spend every night there. So nice to walk back (or take the ferry) to our resort instead of fighting for a bus seat.

Cape May at the BC is my favorite place for breakfast. (It used to be The Galley at the YC until it closed)

One of these days (when we are in better physical shape) we want to take a surrey bike around the Boardwalk. Next trip we also want to rent one of those little boats at the BC/YC marina.

Have fun!!!!

Jill

JESW-- I love the Cape May Cafe buffet too! it has the widest selection and I love that it's a character breakfast... I will be sure to check out the BW and the S&D and take advantage of the great location... thanks!! Bump!

My family stayed for 10 nights at TBC end of Nov/beginning of Dec last year. The resort is lovely! (as it should be for the money). Out of all the ones we have stayed at it is probably the most eye appealing. Cape May Cafe is a must for breakfast especially if you have small kids because the characters are great! I did not like Beaches & Cream at all & I found some of the staff at the gift shop to be unhelpful & rude. But you have to deal with them because packages no longer go to your room, they go to the gift shop to be picked up. The pool is totally amazing! Younger & older kids will love this. You could easily spend an entire day doing nothing but the pool. The easy access to Epcot & Boardwalk cannot be beat! We must have watched Illuminations 3 or 4 times just because it was such a short walk over. The landscaping is very pretty & the "beach" was fun for my 3 & 8 year old. I found the people there to be very pleasant & fun (unlike at the Contemporary-very snooty-hope I haven't offended anyone!). My room was quiet, no kids running down the halls screaming, no next door wall banging. But then again maybe I just had curteous neighbors! I wish that they had a food court though. My family likes to eat quick & get going & w/out a food court it is hard. Like I said, I felt Beaches & Cream was horrible. I didn't mean to write a novel! I get so excited talking about WDW though. HOpe I was some help.

BigThunderFamily-- thanks for the thorough response... I don't mind "novels"... LOL..... I'm glad to hear you enjoyed SAB. I can't wait to be able to go in the pool for the first time! Did you find that renting noodles/tubes/etc... was necessary or just a waste of money... or is renting swimming equipment free? Any help on this anyone? BUMP

~~ONE DAY TO THE BC AND WDW!!!!!!!~~

Honestly, I don't remember even seeing where you rent tubes, etc. My 8 year old wanted nothing more than to do the slide! My 3 year old loved the slide that was just her size in the kiddie pool. Then she liked the sandy area in the pool but there were a lot of buckets and pails just lying around that I presumed the resort left for kids to play with. We didn't need anything else. There is a snach shack there so you could probably rent whatever you needed from that. Also, you have to have an arm tag to get in. I guess people were coming from other resorts to swim at the Beach Club.

Have a great time! Make time for Beaches & Cream, if not for their burgers, their DESSERTS!!! Yumm!! Have a wonderful time at SAB for me!! :)
