2 days before Disney trip can you change names on Ressie?

Is it to late 2 days before check in to change the name on the reservation to another family? Points are already spent I know they can't be retrieved so what about if someone else can you the reservation?

you need to changed the names if you want them to get in the room. Call MS tomorrow and tell them the new names.If you need to cancel the pts go into holding to be use at 60 days out for new ressie.
I have pts in holding now that we will use soon.

My son changed friends and we were able to change the names the day before. They ask for picture ID when you arrive so the names need to be right.

Will you cancel the reservation? Or, are you just changing names?

The 60 day rule for points in holding means you have to make the replacement reservation less than 60 days in advance of that arrival date. It just means you're limited to last-minute reservations. It doesn't matter when the reservation (or two) that you cancelled was.

Double check that you can still cancel the day before check-in date (is that tomorrow?) and still get points back into holding.
